”We loved staying in a house built in the 1600s! It was like getting to sleep in a museum rather than a hotel.
Also - the Continental Breakfast was more than we expected! Beyond a few kinds of breakfast bread and a toaster, there was also whipped cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and a couple types of fresh fruit. We were very pleased.
There were only a couple drawbacks (which would NOT keep me from recommending the experience):

on the way there for fun some people I think just like to complain at everything. The bed was clean and nice, the shower was pristine. my daughter slept till 730 and usually wakes up at 5:30 so the bed was very comfortable. Plus the room darkening shades helped my daughter sleep.

”The Cabot Lodge is a quaint, adorable, wonderful place to stay! The room itself is tiny but the bathroom is spacious. The room has everything you need, including a sound machine! There are complimentary snacks and coffee, and the bed is very comfortable. The town itself is historic and has some very cool shops. Would absolutely stay here again!”
