”The Royal Oak Inn is situated in a lovely area. It was easy for us to park. On arrival which was somewhat late, there was no one to look after us. I got the attention of someone in the kitchen who alerted the manager. We were given our room key and on arrival in the room I noticed that there was quite a bit of hair in the sink and some in the bathtub as well. I mentioned it to the manager and when we returned to our room after dinner, which was delicious, the hair in the sink was gone. The...

”Brother and I shared a twin room, which, whilst small, was adequate with comfortable beds. Room and rest of accommodation was very clean. Elected for the standard breakfast - cereal, fruit, toast with tea/coffee. A cooked breakfast was offered, for an additional charge. Location is excellent for accessing the rest of Lynmouth or walking the Watersmeet Gorge. The host was helpful, informative and chatty.”
