”We spent a week in the house and can only give our best recommendations for anyone that wants a peaceful and quiet area. It’s close to Aqcui Terme (15-20 min with car), a little narrow and curved road up to Roccaverano with some good restaurants, 1 hour++ to cities like Asti, Alba, and Barolo (a must go if you are into wine). The house has a great outside area and a great pool. Volleyball in the pool was a success for both the teenagers and the adults. The house was clean and had all we needed...

”Wonderful house renovated with a very good taste! Pool is great size and heated which made it usable late of September. Situation is a bit too isolated as Castino town is more or less offering nothing. We were mainly missing a big crocery store more closer to house. One in town Stefano is not something to recommend and it left only option to drive to Alba to get croceries. That was the only negative thing during our stay. Thank you Ann, Joseph and Annette. ”If you like to relax this is the place to be. Nice flat and very nice pool. The only disadvantage is that one room has no window. Very buitifull location and very silent. As mentioned a very good place to relax.”

”I am not one who typically writes reviews but I really couldn't have asked for a better home to spend a few nights in Piemonte. The house was big enough to have intimacy amongst friends and couples staying with us, warm enough to bring us all together to raise a glass, knife, and fork. The house felt like a home and we only wish it wasn't November and we could have spent more time relaxing by the pool. Can't wait to come back. Miss it already.”

”This was the second time I stayed at Villa San Lorenzo (the first time was in 2012). ”We were there for 5 days to experience the Wine and Food of the Alba / Langhe region. Giulio was a great host and was very informative of the area with good suggestions for restaurants and other activities. It was a hot week while we were there and the pool was a delight. The views from the house were wonderful and the place was very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to the region and would recommend to our friends.”
