”No soap in our shower. Stayed overnight quickly so didn't really allocate time to ask for some, but we really shouldn't have to do that at all.”

”Very easy to drive past this property. It is hidden up in the woods off of the street. Hard to make a left-hand turn out of the property. Had to go down and make a U-turn and come back up.”

”All the rooms were labelled as Non-Smoking but every room had an ashtray immediately outside the door on a ledge or the AC unit and all had been used which allowed the smoke to waft into the room. So much for Non-Smoking.”

”The historic Inn is beautifully maintained and updated and provides a unique experience of staying in a home dating back to the 1600's. Breakfast was delicious and Megan the cook was welcoming and helpful. We always stay at the Black Walnut Inn when in Amherst!”

”Everything was perfect! The Inn is beautiful; the bed was heavenly. We were greeted with homemade chocolate chip cookies and the breakfast was divine. We look forward to returning. It feels like a home away from home!”

”advertised continental breakfast when we went in there were two bananas one apple pre-packaged plain bagels and a couple of mini muffins. the room was dusty with con webs on tje light fixtures. the soap dish in the ahower was broken and still stuck to the shower walls,”

”Staff was friendly, anxious to help, and readily available. Lots of shops-eateries, gas stations, grocery, and others nearby. The price was outstanding and fulfilled my needs for 4 days and 3 nights. Very quiet and the parking was not visible from the road. Very easy access back to the highway.”
