”So initially I was very upset about booking this room. The pictures make it look very nice its a 3 star hotel and they call themselves a resort so I was under the impression there would be some luxury. I got to my room and the flooring was all messed up the bathroom specifically was a wreck. Low ceiling with a decent amount of water damage throughout. The nail in the coffin though was the black mold/mold/water damage underneath the sink. I probably would've never noticed my significant other did...

”The Wells Moody is a convenient, drive-up-to-your-door motor lodge with clean comfortable rooms. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. And the location was convenient. We did not go to the beach but it was only .8 mile from the sand, straight down the adjacent road. Expect a nice -- but basic -- no-frills motor lodge and you won't be disappointed.”

”Great location - right across from the ocean. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. The grounds were beautiful with the flowers and green lawns in early/mid June. The amenities were great with 3 pools on the property. There are several places to sit outside and take in the views. The room was a little outdated and definitely had thin walls and floors. There was a family above us that had a very rambunctious toddler and we could hear every heavy footed step. That was rough but...

”Upon arrival the front desk staff was very warm, welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the Family Apartment. The unit was extremely clean, updated and spacious. We were roughly a half mile from downtown and all the shops which made it extremely nice to be able to walk and not have to take the car. Stage Run By the Sea is definitely a hidden gem.”

”The AC worked great! The bed and pillows not so great. There was trash in the hallway when we got there and the same trash was still there in the morning when we left.”

”The bar outside still closed from last years stay as it was this past weekend :( There was no hair blower in our room 109 but there was one in my sons room, 310. The breakfast area was nice and coffee too. Friendly reception and good welcoming from the desk employees. The place needs more parking area for people coming back from a later diner time around 8:30 pm.”

”This hotel recently joined a new hotel group and is about to undergo a major refresh, which it definitely needs. My room looked sad -- no art on the walls, dull and dated decor, broken window shades, bathroom very clean but also dated. The restaurant and bar are closed on Sunday, so there were no amenities available when I stayed there on a Sunday. The continental breakfast was unacceptable -- very small selection of sad looking pastries that looked like they came from the supermarket and hot...

”Little concerned when I went into the lobby. It was small in size and a little dated. However the booms were great. Very clean and updated. The breakfast area was nice and had all the usual stuff including waffles. Indoor pool look nice. Parking was plentiful and big enough for our truck and trailer.”
