”Property itself is fair but the lack of communication with the host is the problem. We were stuck outside in the car park for nearly 2 hours before she eventually gave us the access codes to get in. And then when we entered the apartment it was still dirty from the last guests. The cleaner eventually turned up and also hadn't been told we were arriving that day. I definitely would not book it again. ”

”The host was fabulous. She greeted us warmly, walked us through the apartment and made sure we knew about all it had to offer. There were nice friendly touches like fresh apples and big bottles of filtered water. Her communication was excellent and always prompt. Bonuses for us were; 1) she gave us a card for 10% off a great restaurant next door, and 2) she secured a transportation for us to our next destination (1 hr away) that was safe, friendly and cost effective. ”Excellent 4 day stay during height of summer at Salty Lodge. Literally steps from the busy Old town, but area is very safe and somewhat quieter. The rooms are pretty spacious for our family of four, with a veranda that looks out/down to the street activity, stores and restaurants. Shower has pretty good water pressure, no shortage of hot water and rooms have comfy beds. We enjoyed the 5th floor rooftop, oh the views! Make sure to it out at sunrise.
