”Absolutely loved this hotel. Fabulously decorated with art. Huge gardens. Friendly & helpful staff. And a little bit out of town surrounded by beautiful countryside. I walked into town 15 minutes every day. And another easy walk to the museum & cave of Alta Mira. I absolutely loved this hotel. ”

”We had a great two night break at the accommodation. Staff were so helpful at check in and shared knowledge on where to eat, talked through interesting places to visit and shared how to get there either by foot or public transport. This made a big difference to our short 2 night stay as we didn’t need to navigate it from scratch. The rooms are spotless and the beds/bedding are AMAZING. Our room also had a refrigerator, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. Highly recommend 👌”

”Loved this historic hotel in a sweet town, which was all decorated for Christmas. Our host, Rafa, was very helpful and just a very nice man. His English was very good. ”

”We believe this a family run hotel and restaurant. Neither of us speak Spanish or Basque but the welcome and help we had was superb. The hotel is in a convenient location. Our room was silent, comfortable and clean. We dined there in the evening, the restaurant has a good choice of reasonably priced items and wine was included with our menu. Breakfast was also plentiful. Perfect stopover or base to explore this beautiful srea.”

”Really good hotel. Old building but excellent facilities and staff. Very good breakfast. Not many shops or restaurants nearby to walk to but plenty within 5 minute drive. Plenty of secure parking.”

”I liked the kind people, the breakfast, the location. The restaurants in the surrounding were a little bit less attractive. The people of the cafetaria at the supermarket were friendly and helped us in English, but the food choice could be better in the village. Especially English speaking help”
