”The room was warm, clean and cosy, comfy bed, bath towels a bit small, had a room with mountain view of Dow Crag & Coniston all be it a little restricted, the food was very good in the evening & the breakfast had a great choice and very tasty, staff were very friendly and helpful, it was a very peacful place to stay quiet at night no noise from other rooms will defo stay again it has been one of our better choices”

”Five star service from start to finish. Lukas and Andrea contacted us on the day to ask our time of arrival and we’re waiting as we arrived. We had a family room which was actually 2 connecting rooms. One with a double bed and one with triple bunks. The double mattress was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was absolutely spotless. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room with proper mugs (not tiny cups) which was a bonus. The cooked breakfast was delicious...

”Lovely stay at a very friendly hotel. We were made to feel welcome on arrival and the hotel owners Paul and Scarlet could not do enough to help us enjoy our stay. We did not book breakfast but it was there for us each day if we wanted it. Paul recommended other bars for us to attend and helped reassure us about one we weren't sure about. All in all we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Dragon Fly and will certainly return ”

”Appartment was nicely equipped and cosy, pair this with regular cleaning and you get a nice experience. Only problem is beware of where you park!! There is no designated parking for guests, the only bays around are 2 hours maximim stay and traffix wardens are very active in the area.”
