Wedding accommodation
We booked this beautiful house for our wedding weekend, for the bride and some friends/family to stay at. The house was perfect and our wedding photos getting ready on the day are stunning with this house as the backdrop! It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to host our friends/family for a few nights away. The host Tim was also excellent.

Made our wedding weekend perfect
We had the most magical stay ! We used this house as our base for getting ready and celebrating our micro wedding in Barwon heads Not only it’s this property beautiful it is so comfortable and welcoming ! Tim was absolutely beautiful in helping us and our puppy Mabel was able to attend our wedding because she was able to stay in this awesome property with beautiful secure pet space Our 11 month old had an amazing time too. Highly recommend and feel blessed to have stayed

Fantastic place to relax
The property has such a wonderful welcoming feel about it. Plenty of space both inside and out. Great backyard for enjoying a warm evening and it was perfect for our dog. Tim was a fabulous host and responded to a couple of queries straight away. Couldn’t recommend the property any higher, we had a wonderful week in a beautiful community.

Great house, well designed, great being able to bring along the dog!
We had a great stay. The house has good sized bedrooms, a really nice entertaining space/kitchen and a nice deck that catches the afternoon sun. Our whole family really enjoyed the space and loved hitting up different nearby beaches each day. Would definitely visit again.

Brilliant - We'll be back!
We absolutely loved our stay here! There was plenty of room for our two families and the location was a nice walk in either direction to the river. The adults appreciated the quality of the kitchen appliances, supplied utensils, pantry basics (such as oil and sauce) pillows, excellent heating and the large deck to enjoy the patches of sunshine we got. The kids enjoyed the enclosed yard and the table tennis table! We are looking forward to booking again and bringing our dogs next time.

Better than the photos!
We recently stayed at this beautiful home for a family wedding. So incredibly functional, we were 5 adults and a baby. We were never on top of each other, all family units had their own toilet and shower facilities. The bedrooms are huge. It was much better than the photos could depict which is surprising because it’s often the other way around! We will be back to stay again and again.

Special birthday
My family and I stayed for 2 nights to celebrate a milestone birthday. A wonderful playground was within walking distance and it was about a 30 minute walk to the ice cream shop with small children. The amenities and appliances were first class and the owners were readily contactable when we needed them on a couple of occasions. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Tim and Georgia.

Roomy cottage by the sea
We really enjoyed our stay in this property. It was very roomy and had everything we needed. We marked it down on location because it was a 22 min walk into the middle of Barwon Heads to get to the cafe, which was a bit far on a wet weather day. The only other criticism we had was that the building was cold and we had a lot of trouble with the hydronic heating and the air conditioning. Neither seemed to work 100%, and so it was a bit chilly. But other than that we really enjoyed staying here and would stay again.

Just wanted to clear up this review as some potential guests may be under the impression the house isn’t well heated after reading this. The hydronic heating is very reliable , and regularly serviced. Unfortunately the heater settings had been changed to summer so it didn’t work for the entirety of this persons stay. From my understanding it worked for the first night but on the second day they had issues but didn’t bother contacting me as they were leaving anyway. If anyone ever has problems with the heating I’m always happy to talk them through it or send someone around who knows how to use it. Regarding the location, the house is approximately 1.7km to the bakeries and restaurants on the Main Street. The approximate location of the house is visible via the website for anyone who would like to view it before booking. We are on a quiet dead end street, perfect for pets, children and relaxation. A beautifully decorated and clean house . Enjoyed the coffee thoroughly. Negative No Netflix Bed linen not crisp Overall we had an enjoyable time!

Best getaway
This house is not one to be overlooked. The photos definitely do not do it justice but it is a perfect getaway home for friends and family and the space is great. The house renovations give it a nice modern touch but still sustains the honey cottage style too. Definitely recommend booking this house and Tim is a great host! DON’T THINK TWICE!

Lovely retreat for family and friends
Gorgeous renovated cottage with large garage and garden, perfect for groups and dogs! Owner responded promptly and helpfully to questions. I’d suggest a coffee machine or plunger and maybe some soap/body wash in the bathroom which I think is reasonable given the rates. Overall, highly recommended

Great house for all your fam to go away together!
This house exceed expectations, the photos didn’t do it justice, a beautiful home. Loved the spacious rooms and 3 bathrooms, which made it perfect for our extended family stay. We got to experience the brand new kitchen which is stunning, and they have thought of everything you would need in it. The house is also beautifully styled not to mention the gorgeous linen on all the beds (it’s the little things). Location isn’t too far away about at 15 minute walk, or short drive. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Family Getaway
We loved this house! It was clean and tidy and had a lovely 'feel' to it. It was also a great size and having two ensuite bedrooms was perfect for a multi-generational group. The house is large enough for everyone to spread out and the large dining table was perfect for a big dinner! We loved the garden as did our dogs who were in their element sniffing and exploring. The location of this house is perfect too - it is quiet and peaceful and only a 3 min drive into Hitchcock Ave or a lovely 10-15 min walk. I found the host Tim to be very helpful and responsive to any questions I had. I would highly recommend this house and can't wait to book it again for another memorable family weekend away!

Perfect fit
This house was perfect for our needs, a family with 2 teens and a dog! Large house with big back and front yard. 4 large bedrooms 2 with ensuites, you could easily have multiple couples or two families stay here. The house is located around 1.5 km from the Main Street. Barwon Heads is a great place to walk and ride around, it is a nice ride over to Ocean Grove or just out for dinner in Barwon Heads.

A great family holiday
A family comprising 4 adult couples, a baby and a Jack Russell all had plenty of space with comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. We stayed here 2 years ago and look forward to a future visit.

Wonderful weekend!
The house was a perfect size for our family group of eight getaway. It is very spacious and the three bathrooms made for easy living. The very large dining table is a great feature and gathering place. The property is very well fenced and secure for children and dogs and it was great to easily park three cars within the property. Access/ Entry instructions to the property were simple and worked first time, every time.

Relaxing stay with friends
We go away every Cup weekend with friends and of the 8 properties we’ve booked this is has been the best house and location. The house is spacious with a large, airy living/dining/kitchen space across the back of the house which leads on to the equally spacious deck. With one dog the high fenced, secure garden made for a relaxed stay. Kitchen is well appointed, with ample crockery, glasses and cutlery for a large group. The newly renovated bathrooms are spacious and clean. Barwon Heads town centre is an easy, level walk with cafes etc. A great house in a a great location.

Delightful spot
The house was large and comfortable. Full of character with an open fire and a delightful outside garden. When we had a problem with the heating the owner was very helpful and able to give us the right advice quickly. The area is quiet and leafy. A very pleasant stay and highly recommended.
