”Beautifully restored and maintained property. Thoughtful touches all around. Nice room sizes and beautiful bath finishes with intricate heated floors. Staff were all pleasant, professional and accommodating. Great stay in a super convenient location. Highly recommended. ”

”I cant suggest this hotel. My husband and travel a lot for work and pleasure. The Autograph collection of hotels usually provides a higher level of customer service and a bit of luxury. Sorry to say, the Glass Light in Norfolk is not it. The woman at the desk during checkin was unfriendly and when she assigned us to a second floor room, I asked the chances for one on a higher floor. She immediately got defensive and said the other rooms were not clean yet. When I asked if they would be ready...

”The air conditioing did not work the three nights we stayed. After asking the fromt desk three times for maintenance to come to the room, we found out it was a larger issue for multiple guests, but no real solutions. Maintenance never came to the room. No offer to move us to a room with working a/c or a break on the room cost. ”

”Cleanliness ”

”The pool heat was broken. The hot tub had no water. 1 of 2 elevators broken. HVAC system was broken. The room was okay.”

”The room was clean and spacious. The fitness center had 3 pieces of high end cardio equipment, no real weights. Unfortunately the breakfast was not suitable for a diabetic or anyone monitoring their sugar intake . We had an efficiency room that was not stocked with ANY utensils or cooking apparatus. ”

”Room was clean but property needs an upgrade. I was charged for something none of the staff could explain. ”

”Comforter had cigarette holes in it. Random people would knock on my door during the night and day. I will NEVER stay there again. Didn’t feel safe. ”

”This hotel has lots of positives – and a few negatives. On the positive side, it’s a very convenient location right on the ODU campus. The staff is, mostly, very sweet and helpful. They try to quickly honor requests for stuff like more toilet paper or a repair to a clogged sink. Housekeeping is every other day, which is fine. The first time, whoever did the room did a fabulous job: everything was tidy and sparkling. The next time it was disappointing: there were fresh towels but no restocked...

”This is probably one of the best hotels I stayed in. The guy at the front desk was very helpful with information like places to eat and things to do. Great service, location and well maintained ”

”Room was nice. Food was good. Parking was easy. Pet stayed and that was fine. Staff was courteous. I would stay again. If I had to make two complaints, one would be the noise from the airport rather the planes were noisy (but you’re at an airport hotel) and secondly, I thought the stay was on the pricier side given the accommodations and the competition prices. But we made late hotel arrangements and got what was left. But, all in all, I would stay again.”
