”The building and the staff were great! Such a cute property and a really nice room. Only downside was that it was pretty loud due to traffic noise outside (and an early morning party in the parking lot next door). But the staff and amenities were really top notch, and breakfast was very tasty both days!”

”This is a spectacular little boutique hotel in downtown Norfolk. The location is great for walking to the theater and the water district. There’s dining everywhere. The biggest bonus is the glass art museum that’s included with your stay.”

”Staff in the restaurant that served breakfast were too busy standing up front talking to wait on our party of 3. I had to get up to get a refill of coffee. Waitress took our order than joined her friends again. By the time our food was served it was cold. Cold eggs and toast - very unappetizing!”

”Initial check in staff were helpful & polite, after that, customer service was subpar. Hotel/rooms were clean, bathrooms could use MAJOR UPDATES! But all in all, sufficient for our 1 night stay. Location is great!”

”The first room we were given was occupied. The second room was dirty. The sheets that we couldn’t replace had crumbs in them. We asked the front desk staff for more sheets and towels, and they said they didn’t have access to housekeeping, so we had to reuse our dirty towels and sleep on the only clean appearing bed. The breakfast was subpar. I will never come back.”

”I've been going there since in of April or beginning of May since 2025 and honestly it's quite, nice size rooms,nice size T.V.. Good spot for food options if you like McDonald's l, Wendy's,Taco Bell Wawa, honestly the Hardee's ain't all that MF's had one job SMH. The hotel has good and Kind Staff, but I have to say the one guest thing is a bit disappointing I mean at least three guests hell just do two guest and see how it goes. My fiance son couldn't come see her because of the one guest...

”When we arrived and got to our room it smelled of cigarette smoke, marijuana and mildew. There was no comforter on the bed and two very sad looking balled up pillows. The shower did not work properly and the bathroom didn’t look like it was properly sanitized. The door to our room was very hard to open like it was stuck shut. The air conditioner did not want to stay on, looked at the plug and it was not flush to the wall so when you turned on the AC it would shut off. Mini fridge was sweating on...

”Garage parking is convenient. However our room TV did not work and is situated in an awkward format. There was wig hair found all over the room. And the temperature of the room was not consistent. We were gone most of the day and when we returned the room would be in the mid 70s when coming off a hot baseball tournament you would hope you can come back to a room that you set the temp to 70 on.”

”We feel like we got what we paid for with this hotel. It was graduation weekend, so it was difficult to find a reasonably priced place, and this fit the bill. The hotel could use a good deep cleaning, there was a stale musty smell throughout the building, and some lesser checked areas (window sills, baseboards, etc) could use some TLC.
