”Clean room nicely appointed. Quaint bar with wood fire and good selection of drinks including local ales. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was cereals and breakfast sandwiches (bacon, eggs etc) . Would stay again if in that area.”

”Great hotel with lots of amenities, well stocked bar, and great breakfast buffet. The only downside was the room was quite compact, and we stayed 2 nights and didn’t get fresh towels etc during our stay.”

”The room was clean apart from some mould in the corner of the bath which was a bit unsightly, also the furniture was quite tatty and in need of replacing or even just given a coat or two of paint. Considering the price I paid and the fact that I was only there for 1 night it wasn't an issue but thought it was very strange that the wardrobe had 2 security boxes but no hanging rail or hangers!!”

”An historic inn with nicely updated rooms. Excellent shower, large room and the most comfortable bed I have slept in so far on this 3 month trip. Beer in the bar is great with a good selection of wines. Food was good with some interesting Lebanese style dishes. Very quiet and I would highly recommend this inn. ”
