”This hotel very much needs an upgrade. It smells like smoke and feet. This is NOT a place to take your kids”

”The staff was pleasant, but the hotel itself feels a little outdated. Some of the main spaces could be cleaner, and the breakfast was just okay with not much variety. It's fine for a brief stay, but I'd look elsewhere for anything longer.”

”Stayed this past weekend for a concert. Unfortunately we couldn't check in early however the staff was very helpful. We were able to take care of everything prior to the show so getting back was a breeze. Hotel was pretty outdated but for the price and convenience it was great for us. They even offer shuttle service to the venue for small fee. The food truck in the parking lot after the concert was a great bonus too! I would stay again if traveling for anymore shows!”

”My wife and I were traveling to the area to see a concert at the Darien Lake Amphitheater and booked the Asa Ransom House for an overnight stay so we didn’t have to drive back so late. Unfortunately the concert was postponed, but we liked our stay so much that we reserved the same room for the rescheduled concert date. ”We had the worst hotel experience of our lives. First of all, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The odor was so overwhelming that it got into our clothes and even lingered on our bodies. The most unacceptable part was that I had reserved a room with two queen beds, but when we arrived, we were told that all the two-bed rooms were gone and were given a room with only one king bed instead. Overall, it was a terrible experience. After this stay, I have decided that I will never book...
