Tule leikkimään lumessa! Yosemite talvella on kokemus, jota ei kannata jättää väliin. Seuraa sitä liottamalla kannella olevaan kylpytynnyriin ja kupilliseen kuumaa kaakaota paahtavan tulipalon ääreen.

'Meillä oli niin upea aika mökissäsi. Se oli niin upea muutos tylsästä hotellihuoneesta '(Todd B. - viimeinen vieras)

Tämä on viehättävä ja mukava mökki Bass-järvellä, joka on hiukan yksinäinen pienellä kukkulalla, josta on näköala järvelle. Siellä on yksi makuuhuone ja täysi kylpyamme, jossa Kalifornian kuningasvuode ja TV. Toinen makuuhuone on pieni, kerrossänky on kaksinkertainen ja pohjassa täysikokoinen. Tässä makuuhuoneessa on oma kylpyhuone, jossa suihku, wc ja pesuallas. Olohuoneessa on queen-size-Ikea-vuodesohva (mukava!) ja suuri TV DVD / VCR-soittimella. Modernissa keittiössä on nurkka, joka mahtuu 4-6. Vieressä on kirjasto / den-alue, jossa on suurempi pöytä, jota voidaan käyttää ruokailuun, pelien pelaamiseen, arvoituksiin, käsityöhön, kannettavalla tietokoneella työskentelemiseen jne.

Kannella on poreallas, josta on näköala järvelle. Poreallas on erityisen upea yöllä, kun kaikki on hiljaa ja tähdet ovat kirkkaita. Siellä on patio (sateenvarjo), joka on täydellinen paikka syödä kaikkia aterioita, pelata peliä, rentoutua lasillisella viiniä jne. Vietät varmasti paljon aikaa kannella rinteelle ja järvelle päin. Talon puolelle on suljettu piha-alue, jossa on betonipatio ja koripallovanne. Lapset rakastavat leikkiä tällä piha-alueella (vaikka pieniä lapsia on aina valvottava)
 Se on 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä järvestä. Fallsin ranta-alue on alle mailin tiellä. Toiseen suuntaan on monia julkisia rantoja kävelyetäisyydellä tai vain lyhyen ajomatkan päässä ... Valitse vain kuvasi sopiva. Jos sinulla on pieniä lapsia, hyttiämme lähinnä sijaitsevilla rannoilla on paljon matalia alueita, jotka sopivat täydellisesti lapsille leikkimään turvallisesti. Vesi on upea lämpötila kesällä uimiseen. Pines Village on 2 mailin päässä tieltä. Sieltä löydät The Pines -kaupan, huoltoaseman, muutaman ravintolan ja kaupan, joissa voit selata. Järven molemmilta puolilta on saatavana vene- ja muita vuokria sekä pari uskomattomia hampurilainen-, voileipä- ja jäätelöpaikkoja (Millers Landing ja The Forks).

Oakhurstin kaupunki on vain 8 mailin päässä, ja sillä on laaja valikoima ravintoloita, elokuvateattereita, ruokakauppoja, keilailu jne. Lähistöllä on myös hyvää golfia, patikointia ja kalastusta. Ja tietysti, Yosemite on vain tiellä! Se on 20 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Yosemiten (ja Mariposa Grove) eteläisestä sisäänkäynnistä ja sitten vielä 40 minuuttia Yosemiten laaksoon. Päiväretket Yosemiteen ovat erittäin helppoja tehdä .... tule sitten takaisin nauttimaan porealtaassa yöllä!

Tämä mökki on täydellinen pakopaikka pariskunnille, jotka haluavat hiljaisen pakopaikan. Myös perheet rakastavat sitä!
Talvella järvien taso on laskenut melko vähän. Lunta on muutaman kerran vuodessa, mutta ei säännöllisesti. Yosemiten suuntaan tiellä on yleensä lunta, ja siellä on muutama lumipelialue ennen kuin pääset Yosemiten porteille, lähellä Kalaleiriä. Yosemiten sisällä Badger Passilla on hiihto-, lumilautailu- ja lumikenkäilyä; se on loistava perheen lumipelaamo.

We had an EXCELLENT time at this cabin!! It was so close to the lake and was conveniently located only a few minutes’ drive to restaurants and resorts that made the lake visit so much fun!The absolute only thing we worried about was the steep gravel driveway that we had to drive up in order to get to the house. Our small rental car sometimes slid if we weren’t extremely careful driving downhill (especially at night). A truck or a 4WD might make some feel more secure.But it really didn’t impact our stay, or deter us from coming and going from the property. It was a great place to stay and we had a wonderful time!
We were able to get great beach spots not far from the property.
Rented kayaks and jet skis at Miller’s Landing (5 miles away).

Great getaway!

We had a wonderful time. Kids loved the basketball hoop and the adults appreciated the comfortable beds, the view of the lake from the kitchen window and the deck, and the welcoming feel of the place. Location location!

Wendy’s lake cottage was a great place to stay near Bass Lake for our travels to Yosemite National Park. The location is just a short drive to the South Gate of the park and about an hour to Yosemite Valley. It was the perfect location to first spend a day at the Mariposa Grove and the next to drive into the valley itself. The hot tub was a fantastic reprieve after a long day of hiking and the bed in the primary room was one of the most comfortable we’ve had during our rental house experiences. It was a great stay and Wendy was an accommodating host, keeping in contact the entire time. A good place if you plan to visit the National Park.

Peaceful Cabin with Stunning Views, Perfect for Yosemite Adventures

My friends and I stayed at this beautiful cabin near Bass Lake in late March, and it was the perfect spot for our getaway. The weather was incredible — sunny every day with temperatures in the high 60s to 70s. Finding the cabin was easy, and we loved how it was secluded enough to feel peaceful and private, yet still close to Oakhurst for groceries and supplies. The views of the lake from the deck were stunning, and the stars at night were unbelievable!The cabin itself was in fantastic condition and had everything we needed. With six of us, it was cozy but spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. After long days of exploring, we all agreed that relaxing in the hot tub under the stars was the highlight of our trip. It was the perfect way to unwind, especially after our challenging (but amazing!) hike to Upper Yosemite Falls. The bit of snow at the top made it even more memorable.We also explored the local trails around Bass Lake and had a great time hiking Angel Falls via the Willow Creek Trail. The scenery was beautiful, and it was so convenient having such great hikes nearby.The hosts were wonderful, making sure everything was well-prepared for our stay. From the comfortable beds to the fully equipped kitchen, everything was thoughtfully arranged. It was such a better experience than staying in a hotel. We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our Yosemite adventures, and we’re already talking about planning another trip back. Highly recommend this spot to

First time at Bass Lake

.....for my wife and I and the stay was perfect. The cabin was just right for the two of us but also had a small room with bunks and a bathroom had we brought the kids. It was cozy, relaxing, and very well kept. The spa on the deck was very nice as well. Perfect located. Only a 7 minute drive to Ducey's on the lake. Beautiful views as well. Wendy was great and let us know everything was set up for us. Oh, and you don't have neighbors 10 feet away from you. Nice and private. Thanks for your hospitality Wendy. We really enjoyed our time there.

Great family get away

This was our first family trip to Bass Lake and this location was perfect for us! The house was clean and there was plenty of space for our family of 5. The house is kid friendly as there is plenty of space outside and a basketball hoop that kept my boys entertained. The hot tub was an added bonus for us and a relaxing way to end our day. The communication with the home owners was great and were more than happy with our stay here. We hope to visit again in the near future.

Close to yosemite but a world away

Wendy was great to work with before and during our stay. The house was perfect for our trip to Yosemite. It was nice to be on the lake and convenient to the park. There were great restaurants close by and we loved going to the lake as well!

Stayed at this property August 15-18, 2024 with my daughter's family. The property was very clean, quiet and comfortable with ceiling fans in the rooms, and a partial view of Bass Lake. The Master bed was extremely comfortable. The patio and spa were private and the spa was clean and worked great. The gravel driveway has a sharp hairpin turn at the top with parking close to the front door. Downsides are; 1- The lack of adequate air conditioning in the hot months. The wall unit a/c blows into the living room and lacks air for the master bedroom, which is at a 90-degree angle with a 4-foot hall leading to it. Had to use a fan to redirect air to the hall, then another fan to suck air into the bedroom. The other bedroom is on the far end of the living room and lacks air. Had to use a fan to draw air into this room. 2- Very small 2nd bedroom and bathroom with a tiny shower smaller than a cruise ship. 3- With 5 or 6 people/teens the sofa bed is more comfortable sleeping on the sofa than making it into a bed. Small children would be fine.

Perfect location

The home was very comfortable with every needed amenity. For a cabin-like getaway in an area that is super easy to navigate with parks, beaches, fishing, water sports, nearby shopping, groceries, restaurants and more you can’t do better. Hot tub a big bonus for me and the location was easy an easy drive to Yosemite

Perfect Accommodation

Perfect accommodation for my family and conveniently located. The lake is a min away where you can set up on the shore. We rented a pantoon from the marina 8 mins away. Took the moonlight train ride at sugarpine 25mins away. And headed up the Yosemite to do some hiking. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed.

The house was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens). The view from the deck was great and the hot tub was nice to come home to after a long day of hiking. Nice and close to the entrance of Yosemite. Had enough kitchen supplies to make meals and it was nice to have a grill which we used a couple nights to make dinner. We enjoyed our stay here.

Location and View!

In a perfect location with a gorgeous view of Bass Lake! Close to many day use camps, restaurants and rental facilities, and also close to town!

Neat and good location.

The house was neat and tidy, a bit outdated. The master bed was a bit too soft and the living room furniture wasn’t comfortable at all. The cous was old and cushions weren’t comfortable to sit in. The two chairs were fine but not in locations making it easy to watch tv or communicate with anyone in the kitchen. The hot tub was great but water level was low so we had to fill it. No shower supplies provided, so bring your own. Otherwise, all the other amenities were decent and it was an easy location.
