Welcome to The Hummingbird, a lakefront safari tent by Cameron Ranch Glamping, developed in partnership with GLAT Austin inside Lake Bastrop North Shore Park. Just one hour from downtown Austin, this peaceful and romantic retreat combines the beauty of nature with the comfort of home — perfect for couples looking to relax, reconnect, and enjoy a scenic lakeside getaway.

Inside, you’ll find a spacious and thoughtfully designed glamping tent with a king bed, soft linens, and full HVAC heating and cooling for comfort year-round. The interior is warm and inviting, blending natural textures with modern design touches that bring the outdoors in.

The tent features a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot with complimentary coffee to start your mornings lakeside. While this tent doesn’t include a private bathroom, guests enjoy access to clean, shared park restrooms and showers just a short walk away.

Outside, unwind by your private fire pit or grill a meal on your gas grill as the sun sets over Lake Bastrop. The Hummingbird’s lakefront location provides beautiful views, peaceful sounds of nature, and easy access to walking trails, fishing spots, and kayak rentals.

🐾 Pet Friendly: Up to two dogs are welcome for a $49 pet fee per pet, per stay. Please clean up after your pets, keep them on a leash outdoors, and never leave them unattended.

🌲 The Experience

Wake up to birdsong, enjoy coffee with lake views, and spend your day exploring the park or relaxing under the trees. Evenings bring glowing sunsets and star-filled skies by the fire. You’ll be staying inside a public park called North Shore Park at Lake Bastrop, where you may see other glamping guests and families nearby. For larger groups, you can book multiple tents or cabins together for a shared glamping experience.

This is glamping — where comfort meets the outdoors. You may see deer, squirrels, or a few friendly bugs. Keep your tent zipped, bring bug spray if sensitive, and don’t leave food outside overnight.

• Located inside Lake Bastrop North Shore Park (operated by LCRA)

• Family-friendly with trails, fishing, and picnic areas

• Camp Store open 9 AM–5 PM for snacks, ice, and firewood

• One parking space included; overflow nearby

After booking, you’ll receive a secure Lodgify email to verify your ID before arrival.

💳 Payment & Cancellation Policy

• 50% non-refundable deposit due at booking

• Remaining 50% charged 14 days before check-in

• Cancel within 24 hours of booking: 90% refund of deposit (10% kept for processing)

• Cancel up to 30 days before check-in: 90% refund of deposit (10% kept for processing)

• Cancel less than 30 days before check-in: no refund

• Weather-related cancellations: no refunds unless a county emergency order is issued

• $150 security hold placed 1 day before check-in, released after checkout
