Inside, you’ll find a spacious, beautifully designed safari tent with a king bed, soft linens, and full HVAC for heating and cooling—ensuring comfort in every season. The interior is warm and inviting, featuring artisan furnishings and thoughtful touches that make your stay both stylish and relaxing.

The Careyes includes a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot with complimentary coffee to start your morning right. While there’s no private bathroom, guests enjoy access to clean, shared park restrooms and showers located just a short walk away.

Step outside to your private fire pit and gas grill, where you can enjoy lakeside dinners or unwind with a glass of wine under the Texas stars. The tent’s location offers peaceful lake views, surrounded by trees and walking paths that connect you to all the park’s natural beauty.

🐾 Pet Friendly: Up to two dogs are welcome (fee applies). Please clean up after pets, keep them leashed outdoors, and never leave them unattended.

The Careyes delivers the ultimate glamping experience — where comfort meets nature. Wake up to the sound of birds on the lake, explore nearby hiking trails, or rent kayaks for a day on the water. Evenings are best spent by the fire, watching the sunset reflect off Lake Bastrop.

You’ll be staying inside a public park called North Shore Park at Lake Bastrop, where you may see other glamping guests enjoying the area. For families or group getaways, you can book multiple safari tents or cabins together to create your own lakeside retreat.

This is glamping — where comfort meets the outdoors. You may see deer, squirrels, or the occasional bug. Keep your tent zipped, bring bug spray if needed, and don’t leave food or trash outside overnight.

After booking, you’ll receive a secure Lodgify email to verify your ID before arrival.

💳 Payment & Cancellation Policy

• 50% non-refundable deposit due at booking

• Remaining 50% charged 14 days before check-in

• Cancel within 24 hours of booking: 90% refund of deposit (10% kept for processing)

• Cancel up to 30 days before check-in: 90% refund of deposit (10% kept for processing)

• Cancel less than 30 days before check-in: no refund

• Weather-related cancellations: no refunds unless a county emergency order is issued

• $150 security hold placed 1 day before check-in, released after checkout
