Kalastus, kuoret, lintujen tarkkailu, sivuttain etenevät tai nauti vain surffailusta. Tule laita jalat ylös rannan etukannelle suosikkijuomaasi kanssa ja katsele auringonnousua nauttien esteetöntä näkymää Meksikonlahdella ja Sargentin rannalla. House was wonderfully located on beach, so nice to just sit on deck and watch the waves crash in. House was very well appointed everything we needed. We had a supermoon to watch come up a couple days. We collected a ton of Sea beans and shells we like to collect. neighborhood was so quiet and peace full.. Thank you for allowing us to use your home.

The place has potential but it so so dirty and one of the beds smell like sour linen. The coach was full toenails/fingernails and pet hair. The coach is terrible and feels like you are sitting on wood. The bathroom needs work and the entire house needs a deep cleaning. I almost was not able to stay due to it being so dirty. If it was clean and had a clean couch it would have been a good stay. View was nice and the spot was peaceful.

Vacation 2025

We chose this house for its location & wanting to give our senior pets an ocean get-away! Booking & Check-in were a breeze! While unforeseen circumstance occurred and the AC stopped working the property managers were responsive and assisted with gwttinf a temporary fix going above & beyond to do what they could for us. We chose not to leave early since we only get away 1x a year and no one out of our group wanted to return home early. Our stay was in late July so it was warm outside the fish were not biting well off the beach or in the canal but the company was wonderful and the view was perfect! The hosts also went out of their way to provide us a meal at the local cafe which the food was perfect! We look forward to coming back next year

Girls trip to the coast was a beautiful time at this home. We visited for three nights and enjoyed the peace and quiet away from the busy world. We spent our time walking the beach, sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings, playing cards or watching tv in the house and taking naps. This home is a good drive to restaurants and big stores but the quiet isolation is worth it! The Dollar Store is about 10 minutes away and will likely fill and needs that come up. Bring your own food, use the well stocked kitchen and enjoy relaxing! Cheryl was very good to work with, fast communication and patient with any questions I had. Thank you, Cheryl!

Beach get away!

We loved Cheryl’s beach house and are definitely coming back!!! The sunsets are phenomenal and the weather was just right, this vacation was highly needed and helped us unwind and just tune in with the sea gods lol Loved every bit of her house!

Weekend Getaway form working from home.

The pictures really don't show how spacious the house is and how close the house is to the water. Wish we could have stayed longer. Really enjoyed watching the sunrise and fishing right in front of the house. Our dogs liked laying on the porch people watching. We have already booked our next stay and can't wait to be back there.

Beautiful views!

This is a beautiful home with stunning views, a nice large deck, comfortable sofas, a nice tv and good, cold a/c. There were loads of shells everywhere, which was really cool. My husband really enjoyed surf fishing and caught a lot of fish. We had never been to Sargent Beach before and were a bit disappointed at the lack of beach there was near the house. If you wanted to walk the beach, you had to drive a ways until you got past all the granite stones. The mosquitos were horrendous some days, so bring a lot of bug repellent. Our hosts were quick to communicate with us and give us updates on the weather as a tropical storm was heading in, Thankfully it decided to go away from Sargent at the last minute and we did not have to leave. There were a couple of things about the house that could use improvement. The sliding door that you have to enter in is very difficult to open. A weak, or elderly person may not have been able to open it at all. There was a definite mildew or something odor, which we figured might be dampness from the hurricane that hit earlier this year. The microwave did not work properly, but after a lot of button pushing my husband figured a way to get it to work. The request by the owners that we wash, dry and put away all towels used was way over the top, in our opinion. We have never been asked to do that before and had to go buy laundry detergent for that, because there wasn't any there.

Great place!

Loved the house and the location! Felt a bit misled by pics of the beach; lots of rocks with a bit of sand (still had a blast!!). Also other people staying should know there's an expectation that renters replace items such as soap if they run out, and that washing and drying towels is expected but laundry detergent is not provided. Overall enjoyed the stay and location!.

Good Place to Relax

My wife and I spent a week, along with our dogs, enjoying the ocean views and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. We hadn't been to the Texas gulf coast before and this was a good place for that first experience. Being only a few hundred feet from the shoreline, we enjoyed sitting on the porch with its ocean views in the mornings and evenings and exploring during the day.

Quiet beachside getaway

Our stay was nice. The property overlooks the ocean with a nice lawn that rolls into the coastline and sea wall. Some things to improve were petty and not worth bringing up here as overall the stay was enjoyable and we felt it was a fair value. Communications with the property manager/owner was outstanding. Directions can be a little confusing given the odd house numbering scheme on account of overlapping county road and Canal Drive (check in instructions state exactly how far to drive from the bridge). Huge nice TV although we couldn't get it to take other HDMI inputs and there is no internet service (cell coverage is good but hotspot to broadcast TV is pushing the limit). Overall a very fairly priced weekend retreat and host was extremely accommodating and nice.

Amazing Getaway!

This place is a great place to stay if you want to have a great time with your family and friends! The house is great very well maintained and fully equipped with all that you need. Cheryl (the owner) is amazing, easy to reach and super friendly. The view is spectacular, we were able to see some dolphins from the deck! We will be back definitively.

Pretty good…could be better

First, this house had the BEST views! Sunrise, sunset…stunning! It was sunny and cheerful. Great for birdwatching too. Bring your own binoculars! However, it didn’t seem to have been cleaned very well and the basics in the kitchen could use improvement. Suggestions: a cutting board or two, sharp knives, corkscrew, provide plenty of dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent, more dish towels, entry mats inside the doors to catch sand, a working toaster… While the beds were very comfortable, the couch was not at all and there was no other comfortable seating. You sat too low and could feel the crossbars. One other detail; THERE WAS NO INTERNET! Some may not like that but we loved being unplugged and brought books and enjoyed walks and shell collecting.The owner might consider providing literature or a notebook of recommended places to see and nearby restaurants. I hope these guidelines are helpful.
