”One of the best hotels I ever stayed in. clean, comfty, good location and extremely helpful staff. Possibility to use a laundry machine was a nice bonus for travelers who had been on road for a week. We asked to cancel our second night as we could not go to the volcano island due to weather conditions. ”The room was very clean and comfortable, and it came with dishes and bowls—but no pots. Since the only nearby restaurant closes early, we had to drive over 20 minutes into town to buy food to cook ourselves. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize until after washing all the ingredients that pots need to be rented from the reception for NZD 10. Luckily, a kind young couple from a campervan lent us theirs, otherwise we would have gone hungry that night! Overall, the location is not the most convenient...

”Super schöne, kleine Apartments mit eigenem Pool auf der Terrasse unter freiem Himmel. Es gibt auch einen großen Pool auf dem Gelände, Parkplatz direkt vor der Haustüre. Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.”

”This Motel has nice and big units, there aren't any good views, but the place is fairly silent and further from M.t Maunganui so price isn't so high. The host was really nice guy (sorry my name memory, I really forgot his name) and showed us around and inside the unit, also got a really good suggestion for breakfast place. He also guided us to closest supermarket and showed some places to visit while we stayed in Tauranga.”
