”Easy check-in. Owners were welcoming and helpful. They gave us many suggestions for hiking and things to see and do on the eastern side of the island and gave us an understanding of Newfoundland history. Breakfast had some fabulous choices and always cooked to our specifications. The home is a historic site and, as such, has windows that do not close out the road noise but that is easily forgotten with an earplug or the white noise of a fan. Would highly recommend. ”

”What an awesome stay. Luc was awesome to deal with and the property is definitely worth the visit. From the deck overlooks the ocean to the beautiful inside of the chalet, you really do have a everything you need. Highly recommended!”

The accommodation is basic but comfortable and clean, providing everything that is needed for a stay in nature (including a fully stocked kitchenette and emergency tea bags). The location is amazing with a pond, seating, fireplace, berbequw, a hot tub and several wonderfull walking trails nearby. ”The room was perfect. The building was absolutely fine. My only complaint was a total lack of consideration for breakfast. It was self serve- boil your own water, make your own tea and a bowl of poorly chosen cereal. I book B&B specifically for the breakfast experience and the interaction with just and other guests. ”The neighborhood you'll find very quickly is the warmest you've ever seen. Head up to mad rock cafe for breakfast (fish cakes & toutons) then hike the trail from the cafe to mad rock. The property is extremely relaxed & lovely. I would have loved to see the basics added to their kitchen (like oil, salt, and vinegar). As well don't forget your shampoo and conditioner - there is none on the property.”
