”we drove in from Montreal and arrived almost closer to midnight. The room that I thought I booked was big and had a bath, and however, it was up of flights upstairs, and we just were too tired and could not carry our baggage of the stairs therefore we ask for a ground for a room. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind welcoming and changed our room to our ground floor, however the room was extremely small dark. ”I was really disappointed with my stay. The hotel looked nothing like the photos online, which was misleading and set the wrong expectations from the start. The room felt outdated and didn’t match the quality or atmosphere shown in the pictures. Overall, it didn’t feel worth the price, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.”

”For the dollar value, off season rate, it was a great deal. At first glance it is beautiful and the room was impressive with all its lights lit up. But the shock and awe stops there. It was freezing cold, the temperature was 65 degrees not just in the room but in the main common areas as well. I turned on the heat pump, and the fireplace and after an hour I had to call and as for the heat to be turned up. The heat pump was installed in the worst place, with a wall opposite it about 2 feet away,...

”The room was lovely and clean. The staff were excellent very friendly and helpful. Parking was right outside. The door had an elevator so I didn’t have to maneuver the steps.”

”We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)”

”The room was lobby was lovely, and the room was clean. We had pre-ordered champagne to the room for our evening arrival and it was not there. The front desk was dismissive when we went to ask about it and did not make it right. Overall the hotel location was on point, very accessible for walking the gardens and Citadel Hill. I would likely not stay again though as the initial arrival service was truly lacking, there are only some many getaways one gets and I’d prefer a hotel that is responsive.”
