Majatalot – Bayeux

”I will keep this simple. This is place is a dump. A terrible hotel. We were placed on the third floor and the building has no lift. So I had to carry my wife’s and my luggage up 3 flights of stairs. I am 71 years old, in good shape, so it was not a problem, the greeter didn’t offer any assistance. He sat outside on the patio eating a sandwich while I carried our luggage into a terribly laid out room which was dirty and shabby. The breakfast the next morning was the bare minimum of acceptable....

”Of all the places we stayed on our three-week trip, Le Doux Refuge was by far our favourite. Christine and Christoph made us feel at home from the very start, and they treated my father like he was the most important person in the world. That means a lot to me, It’s hard to know where to start when explaining why we loved it here. Firstly, the location: quiet, safe, local and with easy access to every possible location in Normandy. Secondly, the accommodation: beautifully decorated,...

”Everything was more than perfect, would have stayed much longer if possibke!”

”We had a nice stay at this location, though AC is not typical for most lodging in the area. Because there was no AC, we had to leave the windows open, which let quite a few small flies into our room. However, we really enjoyed the delicious breakfast prepared by the owners.”

”We loved staying here. The rooms were clean, large, and close to the sites we wished to see. The staff was awesome.”
