”This was exactly the kind of escape we needed! It’s close to downtown and the hot springs, which we soaked in after hiking the area. Pagosa’s fall color was stunning while we were there. ”Beautiful home that sits at the end of a well-maintained dirt road. If you're "city folk", you might find the drive up (consisting of some twists and turns) intimidating, but it's navigable in 2WD/FWD during non-winter times. I drove it a number of times in 2WD in a half-ton pickup and another drove it in a FWD car, no issues.
