”My 77 year old husband had to haul all our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. There are no elevators, no A/C, the TV wasn’t working properly, the shower was mis-labeled H/C, the ceiling fan was unstable and squeaking loudly, there was mold in shower and on bathroom floor, and there were two entrance doors but only one was accessible so we climbed more stairs unnecessarily. Skip this place!”

”not much hot water after 1 min was luke warm old old old faucets do not work well at all in shower , 40-50 yrs old ! sliding door to patio does not lock have to use a stick behind door screen door is a mess bent rusty , weeds all over everywhere , bbq pit are a real joke rusted to the ground not usable sliding door you have to pull with all your mite to open it and close it !!!! dirty carpet landscape is a real mess”

”So peaceful! Loved my own private balcony for reading and watching the waves. Peggy the manager was very kind and helpful. Room was spotless. The beach wasn't crowded at all! So close to Newport for anything I needed. This was my second stay and I will keep returning!!! Thank you!”

”This was our second stay at this location and we enjoyed it both times. The staff is very friendly and helpful, just ask for whatever you need. The rooms are clean, with a nice TV and a comfortable bed. We like the location. You’re across the River from most of the action but there is a great fish market 1 minute down the road. ”We had a really lovely time staying at the Newport Belle. The rooms were really fun, on theme, and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be visiting again!”

”The staff, especially Emily and Carrie, were so kind and helpful. They really added to the positive experience. The hotel is older but the rooms don't smell old! The walls are thick so you can't hear what's going on next door! Their prices are fair and they don't gouge you! Amazing sunset views. We would definitely stay here again.”

”Room was clean and smelled nice. Check in was fast and they offered free coffee, tea and water at all hours, which was great, and a coffee bar (think mini Starbucks) for free at 8a. Views of the ocean were amazing and you can easily walk onto the beach from the hotel. They had breakfast, for a cost, but it didn’t open till 8a (bummer). Close to many good restaurants, there is an Irish Pub a block away.”
