I was told that they had central heating and if someone from one of the suites had opened a window the whole system would shut off. I asked the person if they could turn it back on he said he didn't know how to. Then I asked how were we going to sleep in the cold they said they could send someone with some portable heaters. ”I had an amazing stay in this extraordinary hotel. By good fortune, my 2 night stay was spent in a room on the east side, and the second night, in a room on the west side. Best of both worlds on the great Fraser River. There was a noise issue from the plaza opposite on my first night. I will be eternally grateful to the wonderful desk staff, who moved me the next morning, to the west side, and even gave me a splendid upgrade. ”

”The staff was completely unhelpful. The television was broken. The ventilation was poor and the air quality was stale. Customer service was awful.”

”The bed was amazing at this property. The mattress was firm. The pillows soft and comfortable. The view from Room A was unexpectedly good overlooking the Fraser River Valley. The parking is difficult, very crowded. I prefer coffee available in the room, but the downstairs kitchen had good access to coffee, tea, milk, and sugar. We explored Steveston Fisherman's Wharf on the Fraser River and Granville Island downtown Vancouver. This was a good central location. ”
