”Enjoyed that I could come and go without any need to interact with anyone. Sort of like having my own personal home/mansion. Beautiful location and grounds. If I had time for a longer stay, I would have had more time to enjoy the building and its grounds. Checkout was a simple as leaving the key and locking the front door. Hope to be back again one day!! ”We enjoyed a relaxing, peaceful and comfortable stay at Mt Cotton Retreat. Sue was a pleasure to deal with and kind enough to offer us a complimentary upgrade to a superior room in the Boutique Hotel. The forest surroundings are beautiful and we enjoyed the indoor/outdoor areas where we could chill out and/or eat our meals. A comfortable bed, large bathroom and mid cons in our room made for a great stay. Thank you!”

”I was lucky to have a very high floor so views were amazing! The bed and pillows are five star. The only glitch was retrieving keys/cards from corner shop...its awfully unorganised and just a mess to search through. I figured it out, but im sure there are many who struggle. Im surprised there isn't another organised, designated area to collect them..like Circle on Cavill Hotels do.”

”Beds were clean and comfortable, so at least one star. Staff were polite, though evasive during some conversations-see below. Shared kitchen included a smashed ceramic cooktop which seemed to have been broken for months given there is an old plugin cooker now on the bench. There were NO SIGNS warning of the damage, NOR any indication whether the electricity was still connected to the stoves. This should be reported to health/safety authorities. Pots rusty, air frier dirty, some plates mouldy, no...

”Single room, multiple nights. As advertised except for aircon which is a fan not aircon. Neighbourhood is quite okay but there's absolutely nothing - not even shops - nearby. Nearest train station has a 24/7 freak and junkie show going on. :) If it weren't for the missing aircon, I'd recommend the place.”
