”Pros: bus stop nearby, easy to get to many tourist attractions even if located a little away from city center, grocery store around the corner, clean comfortable bed, fan provided.
Short stay ok. Room has kettle, some free cookies, free coffee tea packets. Tub mat provided to prevent slips and falls. Room 33 is very quiet.
Cons: No ac. No elevator. Even if only one floor of staircases, it is difficult with heavy luggage. Need to ask for shampoo. They give you hair dryer at desk reception. No...

”We really enjoyed our stay at the Walhampton Arms. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient with assisting in our requests. This is a great place to stay to experience the local town. You get the perks that come with staying in a hotel balanced with the “mom and pop” feel associated with B&Bs. We will be looking to stay at their sister locations for our next city break! ”

”The hotel itself is looking a bit tired but our room was spotless and clean. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The buffet breakfast was hot and tasty. The location is amazing. Fantastic place to stay if u don't want to spend loads of time in the hotel.”

”Lovely hotel, staff really friendly. Free parking round the back of the hotel with space for about 10 cars. Breakfast was included with our room. The breakfast consists of self serve cereals, fruit juices and water then you order from a menu for the rest of your breakfast. We opted for poached eggs on toast and the poached eggs were perfect. There are 14 rooms available at this hotel which is above a pub. There isn’t a lift so if you have mobility issues you may struggle. No air conditioning...
