What an amazing vacation. We drove up and the front of the house was so cute and inviting. I couldn’t wait to open the door after reading all of the reviews. The entry is roomy, so we were able to bring our things in the front door and drop them while we figure out where to keep it all. The 2nd bedroom isn’t huge, but it works great as a place to sleep. The main bedroom had a closet, dresser and side tables ready for your USB devices. The mattress was so comfy that we bought one for our own bed at home. The bathroom is big and it has a washer and dryer.
I am always prepared, so I brought plenty of items just in case like Ziploc bags, trash bags, aluminum foil, etc. Nope. No need. Everything you need is already there.
We spent lots of time on the deck and took advantage of the paddleboat. The lake is murky, but welcome to Indiana lakes. We didn’t have luck fishing either, but we had a good time trying. We used the charcoal grill to make brats, and we used the fire pit to make s’mores.
It was calming, peaceful and relaxing. What more could you want?
