Annual trip to Big White

We had an incredible stay at this condo! The condo itself is clean and nicely furnished, with spacious rooms and all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to cook. We loved the hot tub to unwind at the end of the day.The location is not a ski in or out. It is a short walk to the happy valley gondola and an uphill walk back up. Owner Tanya was very super responsive. Whether you're a seasoned skier or just looking for a peaceful winter retreat, this condo has it all. We can't wait to return next season! Highly recommend!

Nice stay but condo needs a little TLC

Stayed for two nights. Very spacious with cosy bedrooms and living room. Fully stocked kitchen. Great location! The bathrooms need some repairs. The cork flooring in the bathrooms is warped and separating next to the bathtub and shower. The hair dryer rattled and smoked when turned on (definitely a fire hazard) and the waterfall shower head needs a new washer and a clean as there was lime scale build up and it was difficult to turn off.

Great Location!

We had a wonderful stay. The condo is very well stocked with linens & everything and more you need for the kitchen. The condo is very spacious, close to the lift and underground parking was a treat. We throughly enjoyed ending our day with a soak in the hot tub. Beautiful place!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great to be able to enjoy the hot tub at the end of a long ski day. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfy. The noise from the suite above was quite audible but we were mostly out skiing and just played our tunes when home so we managed. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and even left us a bottle of wine to welcome us ☺️ Thanks for having us.

Solid property with lots of living space for our family of four. Great views from the front of the house and hot tub. About 3 minute walk to the town gondola : walk slightly uphill to end of road-ski for 10 seconds to base of gondola-quick gondola ride to village. This gondola operates until 9:00 pm and is the easiest/ only way to get to village? Accommodations seem to be laid out on switchback roads with no shortcuts to walk. We did not use our car once so if flying into Kelowna, get a shuttle if it’s cheaper. Restaurants were quite good. Take good winter boots for walking around. Mine did not have good treads and I slipped a lot in town. No salting? If there was a shortcut to walk from our condo to the village we missed it. Big White itself is a throwback. Super chill. No line ups!! Great skiing. If you’re sick of the glam, crowds and $$$$ of Whistler go to Big White!

Great Stay at Raven's Reach

Had a great time at Raven’s Reach Chalet. Quick communication on any questions I had prior to our visit. The condo was nice with plenty of seating to relax after a day on the mountain, kitchen was spacious and well stocked, and I loved having a private hot tub. The unit is easy to ski into and just a small walk to ski out and down to the gondola. Thanks for sharing your chalet with us!

Great place!

Great condo at Big White - super cozy and comfortable. Nice hot tub, kitchen was nicely equipped, lots of extra blankets and pillows. The building itself was pretty loud with other folks, so just be weary of that kind of outside noise. The property owners were so quick to respond and very accommodating. We had a really nice stay over the weekend! Thanks Tanya and Bryce!

Great Stay at Raven's Reach Chalet

We just returned from a wonderful ski holiday at Raven's Reach Chalet at Big White. The property was very spacious for our family (2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 kids (4 and 6). The kitchen was well stocked so that we could enjoy our meals together. The owners have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The ski out is a short walk before skiing down to the gondola - our grandkids (4 and 6) had no issues walking the distance in their ski boots. Communication with the owners was prompt and helpful. I strongly recommend Raven's Reach Chalet .

Great Property near Happy Valley

The property was great, clean, very spacious and checkin was very easy. This condo is very close to the gondola plus the ridge rocket was a short 4 min walk! Ski in trail gets you right to the building for easy access once your day is done. We would definitely stay here again!

Not ski out as advertised

Definitely not ski in/ski out. I asked at the time of booking if this was ski in/out and was told there was a path immediately across the road that you could use to ski along to the gondola. However it required clambering down a steep challenging path and then skiing somewhat uphill to the gondola. Other options involved walking on the road towards the gondola for 5 -7 minutes or the same distance towards Woodcutter and then skiing to the lift. Also tv did not work consistently notwithstanding directions for making it work - clearly an ongoing problem that was not fixed by the owners. Not a bad place but frustrating that it was described as ski in/out when it is not. Returning by ski at the end of the day was good.

Super ski getaway

We had a fantastic time at Ravens Reach Chalet. It was fully equipped with everything that we needed and the beds were comfortable. Easy ski in/out access as well. Highly recommend this property. Hopefully we will be able to plan a return visit.

Wonderful Ski Weekend

We had a great ski weekend. A short walk out and easy ski in made the weekend very convenient! It was a great space for 4 adults, 2 teens and an infant. Lots of space and comfort.

Beautiful Place for Family Holiday with Teens

The place was spacious and open. Great Wi-Fi for homework and lots of unexpected entertainment options for the kids. The ski in was perfect but the ski out was blocked by construction so it was a small hike up the road to catch the gondola (it would be a challenge with small kids). The kitchen was perfect for cooking family meals and there was room around the table to talk about the days adventures. The property had everything we needed and didn’t bring. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Big White.
