”absolutely amazing place. location is beautiful and so peaceful. we went in the winter so definitely get logs and make a copy fire and take a snuggle blanket so you can sit and look at the stars. would love to go back and stay for 2 nights so we have a full day to enjoy the view. host really helpful, you park up and then take their jeep in a bumpy track down to the treehouse with all your stuff and keep it there until you come back. fantastic star gazing. king fisher and deers in the morning and...

”Do not stay here. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and the owner was incompetent - there was no apparent cause but for around an hour it kept tripping again so eventually I tried (without success) to sleep in my car. The hotel was dirty, no-one was available to help/serve breakfast etc, items such as milk in the kitchen fridge were out of date. It is a very old unmodernised property.”
