”Beautiful place! Excellent breakfast, we stayed in the stables they were nice rooms”

”The setting is lovely and the walkable locality and village amenities. We must have booked the budget room though instead of the advertised "deluxe", first floor courtyard, old stables. Room was fairly grubby, area behind the door hadn't been cleaned forever, shower tiny, bedding and towels clean but quality poor and only 1 skinny little pillow each? Our problem though was we arrived at tail end of heatwave and asked for a fan or something but apparently any available had already been given...

”The standard of accomodation came as a great surprise. Everything was immaculate. Very spacious beautifully decorated bedrooms. Very friendly and helpful host Orla made check in flawless. Would definitely recommend. Continenal breakfast had lots of choice from beautiful fresh berries and other fruits, fresh yogurts, cereals, and a selection of breads,jams etc very good.”

”A bit dated . Friendly staff but a bit disorganized . Sarah (front desk)was great . The bar staff in the evening needed a bit of training and service was slower than should be expected .”

”Stayed for 4 nights as a group of 8. We used the bar and ate there every night. Staff were super friendly and efficient. The food had a good selection and we all enjoyed every meal we had. Bedroom was cleaned daily and fresh towels issued.”

”Check in instructions were unclear, need to go to bar and get your key from bartender. If you arrive after the bar closed you will be out of luck”

”The Main level of the hotel is kept beautifully. Bedrooms were ok. Bathrooms need fixing up. . Beds comfortable. There was no shampoo is bathroom and the carpet needed vacuuming. Breakfast was solid. Bedrooms felt just a bit shabby.”

”This is a great hotel in the heart of town! I would say that the pictures are a little bit misleading. But overall, we had a great stay. Very comfortable beds.”

”very loud. need better access to all stairwells. half the parking blocked off. the resturant had great food but the service was horrible. they sit people with kids in the parlour separate area and then the get forgotten.”

”Beautiful property and the rooms were air conditioned! I did think we would be staying in a castle, but apparently the castle is closed and under renovations being prepared to become an actual hotel, and the monastery onsite was also fenced off, so you couldn’t access the inside of it. If you want to golf, this is the place! Also the food was mediocre and expensive, and our dinner took a total of 2 hours from the time someone took our order to the time someone cashed us out.”

”The hotel is positioned about an 2 min drive from the main road, possibly an 10 minute walk. Arriving by car, there is a massive amount of parking available together with numerous disabled spots close to the main entrance. A very large and elegant foyer with an impressive chandelier and a warm welcome by staff at the reception desk was waiting. Check in was completed quickly & our room selection confirmed. Breakfast is self service and there was a good variety of food on offer to cater for most...
