”Location, 10 minutes from the airport was excellent. Although very close to the A1, the hotel is situated within green and leafy gardens. Our room, third floor looking over the car park, had countryside views and we could hear very little road noise even with the window open. Clean and comfortable room and good to have a shower separate from the bath. Reception and bar staff welcoming, helpful and very friendly throughout. ”Be aware sat nav sends you down the wrong road to access carpark, as you look at it face on, the carpark is on the road to the left of it. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking in carpark at back . Excellent breakfast. Enjoyed a lovely evening meal there. Good selection of wine and beer. Comfy beds. Clean.”

”Staff were brilliant I have had breakfast before and fantastic plenty to eat Bar. And outside area great lots of room Sad to say it all needs updating up stairs. All bathrooms need updating and decor and carpets need gone. Definitely the WiFi needs sorting out so you can get on it when you are in your room I wanted to chill out and watch Netflix but no internet Apart from that always a lovely stay and they accept dogs which is fab”

”The meals were excellent both for quality and price, staff very helpful. The bed was comfortable however the windows did not close entirely. It was quite warm so not a major problem for us but the windows needed refurbishment so they be opened or closed easily. The electric shower was very weak. These issues were relatively minor given the pluses of staff, food and comfortable beds”
