”The grounds are beautiful and the staff is so kind and accommodating. We were there at the end of the rainy season so did not enjoy the pool. However, when the warmer pool was not warm, the staff quickly called for the repair and we were able to enjoy it the next day. Our driver Agus was fantastic. He really made our entire experience so much better. ”

”FunkyPlace is funky. The common areas are nice and inviting. Beach is right behind the hostel. There is one girl in particular working at the place that is super nice, speaks good english and is very helpful. The room was quite basic but we really enjoyed the outdoor bathroom that was like extended private garden to the room. No aircon and the wifi didn't work in the room but in well in the restaurant.”

”Great location if you want to explore the nearby waterfalls on foot. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room, and the restaurant closes quite early (around 8:30 PM). We also had a few insects in the room, and the mosquito net didn’t fully cover the bed. Still, the surroundings were lovely and peaceful.”
