”The room was very clean the location was exactly where we wanted not in the middle of anything but very close to all the places we wanted to go. The property is a little dated but kinda in a weird way adds to the charm”

”I called them Friday to tell them the ferry wasn't running so I couldn't get there and they told me I did NOT have a reservation! I was charged anyway. What is this even about? I spoke to a human there.”

”When I checked in the staff was gone for the day and left my room key at the office mailbox. The room smelled overpoweringly of cleaning supplies and the smoke detector was chirping every minute. The property issued a refund, which I will give them credit for, but the room smelled too powerfully to stay there. Might be a better property during the tourist season when more people are staying there.”

”Housekeeper was the loveliest person, I had such pleasant interactions with her both days I was there. It was my first time staying at this hotel but she made me feel like I was a regular, like I was family. That really made the stay special. Beachfront view was magical.”

”Hotel's beach and pool were great. Walking opportunity to a lighthouse nearby lovely. The hotel was nice but there was a lot of sand on The floor. When we mentioned about it, it was cleaned partly but not everything. ”

”Everything was great as usual, and we enjoyed our stay. However, we were disappointed to find there was no gas for the BBQ grills. This is something that should be checked regularly by the maintenance crew to ensure guests can use the amenities.”

”The Ellery is a fabulous hotel. Located just a short distance from Commercial Street, it is peaceful and quiet yet accessible to all the shops and restaurants. Paul greeted us and actually gave us a free upgrade! He really cares about the hotel and the people who stay there. He also let use a separate parking space as the other spots were taken. The hotel is beautifully decorated- the patio is very zen - although we did not get a chance to use the hot tub or sauna, they are on our list to...

”Everything at Gabriel's was great! The location can't be beat and the staff was very helpful, communicative, and accommodating. We went in the off-season so parking was free anywhere, but they will help with parking during the season as well.”
