”Great location! We walked to Fred’s general store and deli. The sledding hill was only a short walk too. We were looking for snow and we found plenty of it there for our kids to enjoy! The place had 2 living rooms and fireplaces which was great. Kids loved playing the arcade game. Kitchen was well equipped. Hot tub on deck by the flowing creek was very relaxing. We saw lots of deer in the front yard and by the creek. Would stay here again! ”

”We absolutely loved our stay at Banner Elk! This home was perfect for our family vacation. It was conviently close to the ski slopes. The home was well kept and decorated. The basement was a little cold but the owners had space heaters in place. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we look forward to coming back! ”

”First, no one ever told us the road was out. We had to sit for awhile and try and figure out what we needed to do and where to go.Thanks to the postman, he told us an alternate route to get to the house. We ask for an earlier check in and they would not give it to us. However, when we arrived, the snow had not been walked thru at all. Looks to us no one had been there so we wonder why we could not go in a few hours earlier. Towels in the master bath were folded but wet. Uck! Place was decorated...
