Beechville

”I never got a chance to stay because my reservation was cancelled less than 30 hours before check-in and nothing was done by any of the parties concerned to help me find similar affordable accommodation for my weekend. I ended up having to pay almost double the amount for a hotel that did not suit my trip as well as the booking would have, and since I had already paid for the booking my money was tied up in limbo in the transaction for days after the cancellation. This was an extremely...

”We had a lovely stay. It’s not too far away from amenities which was nice. It was a cozy quiet neighbourhood, however sometimes parking was limited. The room itself was pretty comfortable and tidy. The bathroom came with soaps and had lots of towels, plus the kitchen had utensils/dish ware available. Only issue is we only had one roll of toilet paper, and there were no coffee filters for the coffee maker. The host was super friendly and didn’t take long to respond. If we were ever in the area...

”Nice house. Only real complaint I have is that is was very hot in the house with no way to cool it down as it was controlled by the owner, I reached out to the owner telling them it was very hot and asking how to cool it down and they went silent, no response. Disappointing as earlier in the day they were very responsive. I don’t think owners should be able to control the heat/ a/c during renters stay.”

”Unfortunately, this property is neglected. The description is also misleading. It appears to be a place someone purchased for rental purposes and little upkeep is happening. However, the lake is pretty, it’s quiet, and the dock is in good shape. There aren’t 5 bedrooms. There are three. Some of the sofas pictured should have legs. They don’t. So if you sit on those sofas, you’re about 6 inches off the floor. Very hard to get up, unless you’re about 10. There were 5 dining room chairs, the 6th...
