Wonderful Stay at Belair House

We stayed at the Belair House in January 2025 for 9 nights. We enjoyed everything about the home. It had all the supplies we needed for a comfortable stay. The view was amazing. Steps that led down to the beach were easily accessible. The area felt safe and directions received by owner to the house were easy to follow.

A special Vacation

Three seniors enjoyed this wonderful house and its location. The property manager was outstanding and responded quickly to each request. It is a beautiful location and we did not want to leave to explore other places in Barbados. We hope to return again and again, we have rented other properties in Barbados but this was the best.

What a wonderful location directly on the cliff line with the sound of waves breaking. Very relaxing and happy to spend days on the back porch reading whilst listening to the waves breaking below and watching spray plumes thrown into the air.

The view doesn't get any better!

My husband and I vacationed for 2 weeks in August for our 25th Anniversary. Cute house, very comfortable, with nice linens & towels. Mostly private beach & locals were very friendly. Two restaurants close by are Cutters for breakfast & lunch, and Marco Polo for dinner. Marco Polo has great rum punch! Would recommend making reservations. We are already talking about our next Barbados vacation!

Wonderful retreat

We had such a relaxing holiday stay at Paradise Found! The location is superb if you’re looking for calming ocean sounds and pristine views and proximity to the water. The listing was charming, clean, and bright and we found it to be exactly as listed. Communication with the host was a breeze, and we really enjoyed our stay! You should know that it is a little far from Bridgetown and the more “tourist-y” attractions, so I would say renting a car for this stay is crucial. Also the beaches on this side of the island are rough/have strong currents, so you do have to drive if you’re looking to do a lot of swimming.

Best vacation ever!

This beautiful property is just as described and is located in a quiet neighborhood that sits directly on a beautiful, secluded beach. The villa itself was clean, and spacious with amazing views of the ocean. We are glad we had a car to go visit and explore the more ‘touristy’ places on the island but loved coming home to the calmness of our villa, away from the more busy areas. We spent every night sitting on the upper balcony listening to the waves crash against the cliffs. It was the perfect vacation. Karen was extremely quick, friendly and helpful in our communication. Would definitely stay here again!

Truly paradise!

First time in Barbados and our stay was just fabulous! Was looking for quiet, and an oceanfront accommodations that would offer the sounds of the ocean waves at night. This was exactly that!! Couldn't have asked for more! I will dream of this place well after im gone back home. I even recorded 6 hrs of the ocean so that i could take a little piece of "Paradise found" home with me!! Thank you Karen for being easily reached when needed. And her grounds keeper Trevor was so accomodating! He helped me the first day i arrived with driving on the opposite side of road, helped me with grocery shopping and took me to Oistins for some freshly prepared fish which was truly yummy and so fresh! Trevor went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable! Thank you!! ❤️

Exactly what we needed!

My husband and I have not been back to Barbados since Covid, so this was a much needed vacation. I chose the villa because we wanted privacy, a view, and more space than just a hotel room could provide. We were not disappointed at all. The pictures do not do it justice. The view was amazing, and the property was maintained well, and the inside was clean, and spacious. The owner communicated throughout our stay, prior to our stay, and even after our stay. The property manager met us at the villa, and even transported me to the grocery store to pick up staples. The car rental company that the owner recommended transported us to the villa, where the rental car was waiting for us. As this was a new part of the island that we were not familiar with, the assistance was greatly appreciated. We plan to go back to Barbados, and I look forward to staying at the villa again. The last night of our stay we drove less than a mile to a quaint restaurant. The owner accommodated a late check out, which provided us with the ease and comfort to not have to leave the villa prior to our flight. I miss it already!

This was supposed to be a graduation trip for my daughter. The listing gives impression that there were conveniently located beaches nearby and a pristine beach 12 steps away. Instead, we found that the beach 12 steps away was covered in seaweed and the water so rough that even an advanced swimmer would have issues due to the SEASONAL seaweed in the water. The view of the ocean is beautiful during the day, unfortunately it was not relaxing to spend time on the decks due to the noisy construction that was going on all day everyday next door. The air conditioning was not on upon our arrival, and 3d bedroom air conditioning was not working-one of the guests slept 2 nights on the coach downstairs. This could have been resolved prior to our arrival if it had been tested and turned on to bring the villa to a comfortable temperature. It took a couple of days of property manager and the A/C repairman going in and out before the A/C was fixed and the room was comfortable to sleep. The first full day wasn't much better. We discovered that the dishes in the cupboard were dirty and that there were ants on the kitchen counters and in the kitchen cupboards. We had to wash every dish and utensil prior to use. Manager treated once for the ants, but they persisted. Then on the 3d night another room A/C broke. The toilet upstairs also stopped working. At this point we moved to a resort that had a beach, A/C, clean dishes, no ants, no construction or workers coming in and out regularly.

Very nice. Everything I thought it would be! Quiet, relaxing and beautiful. Loved the private beach! The hostess and staff were very friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend this place!

The property was beautiful and extremely clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Barbados. The house was very clean and the staff was super friendly. If you love the sound of the ocean and the smell of the salt spray... this is the place for you. We will certainly return as it was just like home away from home wth all the blessings of the Caribbean.

Lovely property, beautiful location

Had a fantastic time in Barbados, good information from the owner and property was delightful. The location requires a car but it is ideal for exploring the island. I would strongly recommend this property.

What a fabulous property. It is in a perfect location with a very thoughtful owner. The small beach is amazingly beautiful and created a spectacular setting for our holiday. Within a few minutes we were able to reach three larger beaches, which we enjoyed. Everything on the entire island could be reached by easily by car. The house's decor and ammenities really put us in the mood to relax. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the necessities. This made home cooked meals and tasty drinks a breeze. I hope to return soon!

Overall a fantastic experience and would gladly do it all over again. Great views from the balconies also. Just a short walk down to the beach. The beach is right there, it couldn't be any closer! Awesome, awesome!!!

25th Anniversary was perfect!

After reviewing several locations I decided to book the "Lovebirds Special" for our 25th Anniversary. The owner provided everything for us from the car rental contact to different places to eat and be entertained. We have been to Barbados before but this location was by far the most relaxing area to be if you truly want to "get away from it all"! The pictures do not do this house justice, the entire property is kept clean and the view is one to dream about when you first step out onto the back porch! My wife absolutely fell in love with the house and with the personal beach that you literally have! We saw maybe 6 people visit the beach the week we were there. Walking onto the beach and the rock cliffs adjoining the property is very relaxing as you are able to enjoy a fantastic view of the coastline and the blue ocean. Making breakfast is my favorite and to have a table setting on the back patio overlooking the beach view coupled with the crashing waves during a good morning meal with coffee (bring your own as the island is more of a tea culture) really starts the day off just right! Waking up to the Bajan sun at the crack of dawn is a sight to see with the crayola mix of colors over the ocean. The house is perfect to relax in all day or if you desire, travel the island; be sure to have a GPS as you will get lost (which is no problem, the locals happily give you directions). The island life is very relaxed and time is not a priority; so put away your watch and enjoy life Bajan style! We are anticipating another trip back and will make this house our #1 priority to book.

Perfect Beach Villa Paradise Found

What a beautiful home! I am just booking our return trip to this oceanfront villa and I want to take a moment and write a few comments about our stay at this lovely property. Foremost, we found the location and villa to be very safe. Secondly, we found it most convenient to the various island locations we sought out, but not so in the thick of things that we had to experience noise, crowds and traffic. It was comfortable and spotless and very well taken care of. The views, breezes, cliffs and the variety of beaches around villa were fantastic. The owner provided us with beach chairs, boogey boards and a cooler to take to the beaches which was really appreciated as they are all quite expensive on the island and almost impossible to bring with us. Lots of privacy which we really enjoyed. When we wanted some action we were minutes drive from the Crane Resort that has nice shops and restaurants, great cocktails, and a top rated beach. The villa is not far from a major grocery store, restaurants, bank and shops. All in all we loved the location. The car rental service the owner recommended was excellent. They greeted us at airport and took us right to the villa. Weren't sure whether or not to get GPS but glad we did as we went everywhere around the island with no problems at all. We were so pleased with our choice of this property. We traveled with family this past January but this time we are going back to enjoy the entire villa to ourselves with the Lovebirds Special. Quite the romantic setting, upper deck right off of bedroom great for star gazing, listening to the ocean and just unwinding from our busy life in the States. We enjoyed the peace and solitude in this gorgeous setting. If you are looking for the perfect beach villa, we felt we found it here. We thought we might miss having a swimming pool but we purchased day passes to several of the resorts and would spend time there swimming in their pools and using their hot tub which was great. Always happy though to leave the resorts and return to "our beach home" at end of day. Owner was most helpful and very informative in the preparation of our trip. Many thanks to her for all the great advise. We returned home rested and relaxed and made some great memories. I feel that staying at this property was an essential element in making this such a wonderful holiday. I am so looking forward to returning.

Paradise Found!

We stayed with our two children (ages 14 and 20) at the Bel Air Villa in St. Philip for eight-days to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The place was amazing and we had it all to ourselves! It is located in a quiet neighborhood and faces the ocean-- a small beach directly below the Villa can be reached via a few steps. The Villa is clean and spacious with a kitchen and dining area and living room off to the side. A bathroom and laundry room complete the first floor. Upstairs is found three bedrooms---two of which have access to a balcony which overlook the ocean-- a perfect place for tea or coffee or even breakfast. Two bathrooms are also found on the second floor. The Villa has AC in all the bedrooms as well as ceiling fans. We didn't find it necessary to use the AC with the fans running and the steady trade winds. As beautiful as the Villa is we mainly used it as a launching pad to go on day excursions about the island. We strongly recommend renting a car as places to go are all quite some distance away. Also rent a GPS for the car as we found it performed beautifully and saved us countless hours from being lost. The people of Barbados are friendly, respectful and welcoming provided you show a mutual respect to them. From the Villa we went to the Emerald City grocery store which is about a 5-10 minute drive and this helped cut down tremendously on food costs. There are many beautiful beaches to choose from and several in close proximity to the Villa-- Bottom Bay and Crane Beach we enjoyed. Other things to do on the island that we highly recommend include an all day sailing excursion on Cool Runnings catamaran to snorkel over a shipwreck and coral reef (very professional!), Atlantis Submarine, Harrison Cave, Animal Flower Cave, Barbados Wildlife Refuge, Morgan Lewis Windmill, St. Nicholas Abby Sugar Plantation, Barbados Museum, etc. Cutters is a nice sandwich place up the road from the Villa with amazing homemade rum punch-- highly recommend! The flying fish sandwiches are very good as well. For us the Villa was the perfect place where we could come back in the early evenings and have some down time-- a peaceful place to unwind after a long day. Alternatively, one could hang out at the Villa and sun on the small beach below, read a book or take a nap while listening to the pounding surf. We highly recommend this Villa and if we have the opportunity to visit this beautiful island again we will definitely book this Villa! Thank you, Karen!
