The Belize Zoo is one of the most popular attractions in Belize City (or just outside, in this case). The 29-acre zoo is home to over 120 species of animals native to Belize. You'll get to see jaguars, macaws, snakes, pumas, tapirs, crocodiles, assorted birds, and more. Most of the animal interactions are pretty close, lending a personal feel to the "best little zoo in the world."
