Escape to this beautiful log home on the northeast shore of Clam Lake and just a short boat ride to Torch Lake. Offering sweeping lake views, a private hot tub, and direct access to the Lower Chain of Lakes. Perfect for year-round stays—enjoy summer boating, fall colors, winter skiing, or a peaceful Up North getaway just minutes from Bellaire and Shanty Creek.

Other Things to Note:

● Rental agreement required

● Photo ID + copy of ID required for reservation confirmation

● Dock depth ~3 ft (suitable for pontoons, not speedboats)

Our weekend getaway

We stayed at the property for a end of summer boating trip and the place was super clean there was plenty of parking in the driveway comfortable accomodations.it was super nice.I was disapointed that the boat dock was taken out before we arrived but i learned a lesson on that and it will not deter me fron staying again at all.this was the best vacation rental i have been to.highly reccomend to anyone

CABIN RETREAT

House was as advertised. Loved sitting on deck to watch the swans in the morning. Great having a grill and two kayaks on property. Kitchen was well stocked, great kitchen table to play games at. The only thing that I might say was a downside was the upstairs bedroom with the queen and bunks did not have a door (as pictured).

Cabin on the lake with the family

Cabin was clean, no bugs which is a must! Yard work was in progress, would have been nice if more yard was available for activities. The grill was too dirty to use which was sad 😢. Had a blast using the kayaks. Daily visits from the swan, beautiful! Would stay again. The area was very nice, not too secluded but not too busy either.

22nd Annual Smith Fishing Trip

Had an excellent time on Clam Lake. The family enjoyed the great north woods as well as Clam Lake, Lake Bellaire, and Torch Lake. Family activities included Fishing, Boating, Playing Cards, Camp Fire Confessions, cornhole n many trips into the town of Bellaire.

We had a wonderful family vacation. We enjoyed the hot tub and rented a boat and were able to go fishing on Clam and explore Torch all together! Great fun sitting at the table on the side porch. The house is beautiful and was perfect for us!!!

Beautiful Weekend

We had a group of people come up to this property to enjoy it for a weekend, and we had the best time. Nice dock and kayaks for fishing, with good protection from the wind tucked back in the trees. Overall a perfect spot for a weekend up North.

Cabin was very clean and well kept. Very peaceful setting. Was nice to have the dock since we rented a boat for the week. We had a peaceful, relaxing week. To enjoy a little more it be nice if ground between cabin and lake could be opened up a little and water around dock area. A new gas grill would be nice also. Overall I would recommend this place and we had a great time

Great cabin on the lake

My family + my sisters family really enjoyed our stay. The young kids loved the "bunk room" while the teen loved the basement. The adults loved that the kids occupied themselves with fishing and playing. ;)

Clam Lake

Great property and location! If you want to fish on Clam, no problem! If you want to zip up to Dockside and Torch Lake, you can do that too. If you want to cruise the Grass Lake and watch the sunset coming back, it's perfect! Super dreamy location with comfortable living arrangements. The wrap around deck is perfect for morning coffee and watching the wildlife wake up. You may even see the bald eagle!

Beautiful Property with Great Location

Stayed here memorial weekend with a group of friends - the house and view is gorgeous. Even better than the photos. The house is spacious and had everything we needed. The kayaks were awesome! The water was just a little too cold to swim in since it was still May, but we enjoyed our time on the dock and in the kayaks. The hot tub and fire pit were amazing too. The host is very responsive, I reached out to her several times and always received a quick reply. It is very close to the downtown Bellaire area, just over 10 minute drive. The beds were very comfy as well! Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

My fiancé and I just needed a quiet weekend away and I have to say that is what we got. It was so peaceful! The house was perfect for us. The view was great! And the hot tub was a nice bonus! We would definitely rent this house again!

Friends weekend getaway

A group of friends and I stayed at this property and I cannot say enough good things! It was extremely clean. The cabin had a very nice cedar/oak smell, and the owners thought of everything you may need while staying here (shampoo conditioner, plenty of towels, little makeup wipes,etc.). The cabin was gorgeous with an amazing view. The fire pit, kayaks, and hottub were a very nice touch! We made breakfast in the kitchen one morning and it is a beautiful kitchen to work it. The beds were AMAZING. With a memory foam topper, I think this is the best I’ve slept in years! Overall, one of my favorite VRBO restaurants Experiences.

Great place by the lake

The home was beautiful and the management team was great to work with! We stayed over NYE weekend so we didn’t get to use the lake but the view was awesome. The location was close to downtown if you want to explore. If not, the home is spacious enough for family games and quality time. Great stay!

Beautiful home in a beautiful area

We had a wonderful stay. Online photos and listing are very accurate as to what to expect. Beautiful lake view. We did have an issue on check in, we were sent the wrong code, and there was a bit of panic in the moment as we couldn’t get a hold of the property manager for a bit. About 15 minutes later we finally got a hold of someone who was able to provide the correct code after several incorrect attempts. The shower upstairs is extremely slippery. The worst I’ve ever seen. I took a shower before my wife and almost fell multiple times. I then warned my wife about it before she got in and not 3 minutes later I heard a loud bang and she had slipped and fallen. Couple nasty bruises. They really need to put something down to create friction. Be very careful if showering upstairs. There were a couple other minor things, the kitchen utensils and pans on hand aren’t the best. Definitely could use some new equipment and a bit more. Beds could also use an upgrade. Pillows were pretty bad and the mattresses have definitely seen some use. All that said, if you can get passed these few issues, it really is a nice spot with a great set up for a family get a way. Hot tub with the lake view is the real star here.
