Motellit – Belle Isle

”I was staying here for an event at the convention center, and in terms of the location it's great for that since it's cheaper than anything else in walking distance. The rooms have decent amenities, fridge and microwave are nice since there is a grocery store directly across the street. Otherwise the rooms aren't the cleanest and the soundproofing is bad, was kept up multiple night by being able to hear my neighbors and people walking by on the street. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was the...

”The room was not modern for the price. There was a bug in the jacuzzi so we never used it. It was just not what I expected or my husband. I would never stay there again. We did not even wait till check out to leave.”

”This place is HORRIBLE. Paid 76 dollars for there to be BUGS ON BUGS ON BUGS. They were literally everywhere. My boyfriend and I had to sleep in my car. When we asked the staff for a different room there were bugs in that room also. They said they were aware of the bugs but couldn't do anything to help. Yet still let everybody check in, made no one aware of the bug situation, and had a strict 15-minute no-refund rule once you got the room, even though they knew about the bugs.”

”My room unfortunately upon arrival was filthy walls and bathroom disgustingly dirty 2 later on find out that night my room was infested with roaches.... my room was then switched 2 another room with dirty walls and bathroom. Terrible experience all together....”

”Place was filled with termites and had to change rooms 3 times!”

”In a bad part of town did not feel safe we went and stayed somewhere else for the night”

”Under no circumstances do not stay there unless the sky is about to fall down. We booked abroad and after travelling for 20hous we arrived in this nasty, cannabis smelling dumbsite. The reception tells it all but we decided to have a look at the room. Disgusting! Broken furniture, blood-stained bedding with cigarette burns. And it was so disgustingly dirty that I had the shivers hours after just being in the room for a few seconds. We left and never stayed. The place should be taken down from...

”i paid for one night and didn't stay there at all. when i drove up to the place i sat in my truck and wasn't sure what to do. I decided to write it off as huge mistake and found another place to stay the one night. it looked awful from the outside and didn't even want to experience what the inside of the place was like.”

”Thanks”
