Beautiful Home on Lake Samish with Deck- 10 minute drive to Fairhaven

Tastefully decorated three bedroom open concept home directly on the lake. Complete with garden, expansive lawn, shared dock (bring your boat!) and watercraft shed with two stand up paddle-boards, two youth kayaks, adult and youth life vests, corn hole set, and a handful of floaties. Outdoor shower on the north side of the house as well.

Deck off the second floor with large dining table, seating area, built-in gas barbecue and porch swing. Additional outdoor seating area and fire pit (summer months) on first floor. Upper bedroom on third floor has a balcony overlooking the lake as well.

Entire third floor is the main bedroom suite including king bedroom with Samsung Frame TV, bathroom- separate shower and bath tub, double vanity, walk-in closet and office. Second (main) floor contains the kitchen, living and dining room, a mud room and a half bathroom. Large dining room can easily accommodate 8 with available extensions and the living room boasts a cozy wood burning fire place- next to a sofa and two saddle chairs and a pair of cozy sofa chairs. This level has vaulted ceilings reaching the top of the third floor

Ground level (first floor) has a queen bedroom facing the lake, a large bathroom with double vanity, TV room (60 inch flat screen) with sectional couch, and a bunk room with pairs of twin bunks (4 beds)- ideal for kids.

Ten minute drive to historic Fairhaven and its well known restaurants, pubs, shops and amenities. Twenty minute drive to Bellingham International Airport.

Loud music is not allowed as we need to respect the surrounding neighbors. High speed internet courtesy of the EERO repeaters for WIFI access on every floor. Both TV's are smart TV's with streaming service capabilities (no cable).

There is a friendly neighborhood cat "Scout." Please do not allow him in the house. Not only to protect those with allergies, but also to keep the property in pristine condition. It can also be difficult to get him out!

Beautiful views

This is a beautiful house and is exactly as it is advertised in the pictures. The host responded quickly to my questions. It is about a 15 minute drive to restaurants, grocery stores, anddowntown Bellingham.

Memorable Family Reunion

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful lakeside home. It was the perfect gathering place for visits with our local family and UK family staying at the owner’s cottage property across the street. The owners were extremely responsive to questions and were very accommodating to our needs. If we are fortunate to bring our family together again in the Bellingham area, we will absolutely consider staying at this property.

LOCATION! GORGEOUS HOME!

This home did not disappoint. It was beautiful inside and out….and how about the VIEWS and the LOCATION! It was 15 minutes to Fairhaven with no traffic. This house has all the amenities and very comfortable beds….we slept in everyday. We were able to relax, unwind and reset which was so needed. We had a fire almost every night, under the stars and even with a little rain, it was perfect. The kitchen had everything you need to cook a beautiful meal. There were 4 people, my husband and I and our son and daughter in law. We took the whole upstairs and they had the entire downstairs, then we met in the middle for meals and games. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing home with us, it was perfect!!

Beautiful & comfortable house on the lake

We had a great time at this beautiful lake house! Well designed and comfortable with great spaces for gathering to play games, hang out and enjoy the lake. We brought our boat and had a great time tubing and fishing. Caught a 20” bass! The kitchen was spacious and had almost everything we needed. We would happily stay here again and Mark and Carlee were great at communicating expectations.

Family Vacation

The property was an excellent place for our family vacation. Our grandsons loved paddle-boarding on the lake. The house was just as pictured on VRBO. There is plenty of entertaining space both indoors and outdoors. It is a beautiful lake setting and conveniently located for exploring parks and hiking trails.

Great house

We had such a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. Our daughter and her family with three small boys stayed and fished and fished. They were in heaven even catching the tiniest of fish. They mastered the kayaks which are as cute as can be and we enjoyed the bonfire. Beautiful location that we hope to stay at again.

Fun Family Time!

This home is one of the most beautiful homes on the lake. The garden overflowed (August) with berries, tomatoes, apples, and kale (we had so much fun picking everything... thanks for this treat!) The neighbors were friendly... we definitely would come back! We loved being able to bring our boat and tie it up to the end of the dock... huge plus for us. There's truly something for every age here. As water sports people, we were extra cautious with our toddler on the property because there are no gates from the house to the beach (to be expected.) We also really like to cook, and found everything we needed, except a blender/food processor (which my brother was able to bring over.) Mark was super responsive and helpful, but we also tried to be respectful of his time and didn't want to burden him with something we were easily able to solve on our own. :) I only add it here to help other families with their planning! Overall, a great time! We look forward to coming back.

Dream lake house

What a beautiful last few days. This lake house is absolutely gorgeous right on the lake with large yard. All the lake toys included which was wonderful. We had s’mores at the fire, played endless rounds of corn hole, BBQed, and played endlessly. The kids LOVED jumping off dock into the lake. The house is a gorgeous beachy vibe. Super spacious and had everything we needed. We absolutely wished we stayed a few more days. Thanks again!!!!

Enjoyable Lake Vacation

This home provided our family with an enjoyable lake vacation. The house was spacious and clean, the property was large, and the dock and lake was beautiful! We enjoyed many hours of fun on the water in the clean and warm lake. The open concept design worked well, and the bedroom arrangements were spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Great Fun Filled House

We rented this house and the one next to it for a family reunion. Everyone said this was the best family vacation! We felt very comfortable in the house. It had a great big kitchen that made it easy to cook for multiple people. We loved the kid room and all the toys. The view was fabulous. We enjoyed many meals and sunsets at the large patio table. We have already booked next year’s reunion!

Amazing house

This house is amazing! It’s very updated with lots of amenities. For future renters a couple things to consider before renting, lots of steps so not ideal for littles and older adults who have trouble walking. Not a lot of parking, only four parking spots. This was our annual girls weekend and we usually come as we get off work. This time we had to figure out carpooling. Lastly which you can’t really control is lots of geese poop. Overall the house is amazing. Really nice deck to hang out on, enjoy your morning coffee or the sunset and two outdoor fireplaces. It’s was a very much needed relaxing weekend.

Family Easter

We had a great time cooking family meals and eating together at the table for 10, relaxing by the wood fireplace and the view of the lake is awesome both day and night! Even had a fire by the lake edge and grandkids got in on some paddle water sports!

Relaxing Getaway

My husband, 3 month old, two friends and their baby stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed our comfy stay! Beautiful home, wonderful views, even on a rainy PNW weekend. A short drive to Fairhaven which is fun to stroll around to mix up the slow days at home. The one thing to consider is it was difficult to get food delivered so each night had to make the trek to Fairhaven or Bellingham, which was about 30 minutes round trip. Not sure if it was just a busy weekend for food delivery. Otherwise, the kitchen is beautiful and I'd consider bringing more groceries to cook delicious meals at home :)

A relaxing and enjoyable experience

The only challenge was the property is built on a medium slope., so there were a lot of stairs. We had a elderly couple with our group that was challenged by that. But everything else about the property was amazing!
