”The cabin was just as described. Well cared for by the care-takers Antonio and Dena. There were a lot of birds, and we saw Red-Lored Amazons among many others. Being near the river, and in a fairly dense forested area, there were mosquitoes and no-seeums. The large screened porch was a great place to enjoy the wildlife. A good BBQ was provided, the cabin was very large, and the a/c worked very well. All in all, a great stay. Recommend.”

”We loved our stay at the Banks. Check in was easy. The house is fully equipped with everything to make your stay most enjoyable. You wake up to birds chirping. The closed in veranda made for enjoying the outdoors without the sand flies. Our fishing boat came to our door for pick up and delivery. The use of the kayaks was a bonus. Would have used the fishing poles provided but they need longer fishing line. We will definitely look at coming back.”

”All online descriptions do not come close to doing this place justice. The experience was amazing from start to finish. Communication during the entire process was prompt, professional, and courteous. The property is stunning, the area beautiful and serene, and the people amazingly friendly. We were taking a walk down the road and a gentleman with two small children stopped and asked if we needed a ride. I look forward to the opportunity to stay here again soon !!”

”Our family of 5 stayed in two cabins in late December 2023 and had a great time. The cabins were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each had a porch looking out over fields and the Macal River. Manon was a fantastic host. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat in San Ignacio and things to do in the Cayo Region. The Lodge is down a dirt road that is very bumpy (like most roads in the region) and became very muddy because of the rain so we parked about 1/3 mile from the lodge...
