”Property homely, comfortable and peaceful. Adjoining hosts wine growing & tasting business sampling is a must. Plenty of opportunities to walk around the area/vineyards, or take trips to the many fairly close château. The hosts are friendly mostly only French spoken, but we were able to communicate with a few words. A very good place to stay.”

”The setting is absolutely stunning. We had great weather and access to the river was terrific. Such a relaxing place. Lots of wildlife around including European beavers. An incredible range of things to do in the surrounding area and for the British a relatively easy drive down from the channel ports. ”

”A very spacious property both inside and out. Very well equipped, and appearing to be further developed. Very good kitchen, bbq and outside areas and a rather quirky inside layout. Lots of space for families with children. We had an issue at one point and the owners, who are charming people, were very quick to respond and to try and sort things out. The pool, of course, is excellent, particularly as we had extremely hot weather.”

Communication with René was incredibly efficient before and during our stay, including recommended restaurants and local events taking place during our stay.
