You cannot beat this location! Base Camp is the ultimate home base for all your Bend adventures! Walking distance to pubs, coffee shops and the river! Cozy open kitchen, dining, living space plus small attic loft. Lots of windows for natural light. Heat is provided by upright gas stove In living area. Updated kitchen and dining area. Charming bedroom with walk-in closet. Step outside and you'll enjoy the beauty and shade provided by mature fruit trees within and around the large fenced rear courtyard with patio furniture, fire pit and BBQ grill.

King- attic loft (ladder access, low ceilings)

The home is dog friendly (2 dog max) and the pet fee is $40/day (Max $250). Dogs only please.

Nice location

This property allows easy access to many things in Bend. A lot within walking distance. The property has a nice backyard that our dogs enjoyed. We had a nice stay.

Relaxing!

I stayed 2 days ahead of my husband, to work, and it was the perfect place for me to sit, work and enjoy the weather. Loved the location of the house too. It was near enough to everything to walk, but far enough so we didn’t have to fight for parking. Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to stay here. We really enjoyed ourselves.

The property is very nice and the fans were extra nice since how hot it got this summer weekend. The best part is the location. We were within walking distance of morning food trucks, lunch/dinner restaurants, etc. I can't wait to visit in the winter!

Cozy and excellent location

We had a great weekend stay in Bend. Everything was clean and well organized. The outdoor space was a lovely place to relax in the sun while staying warm with the gas fire place! The indoor fire stove was amazing to warm up and kept the place a nice comfortable temperature. The location of this property couldn't be better.

Repeat Customers

This was our second time staying at this property. You can’t really beat this location and the dog friendliness of the property makes it one of our number one choices. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because it seems like they could do some upkeep on a few things. The out door area is where we spend the majority of our time and they have lights hung up so you can enjoy the space at night, however, only about half of the lights work. The outdoor furniture was starting to look a little worn as well. Really this place deserves 4.5 stars since my only critique is on the outside of the property. The property manager was easy to get a hold of and the check in and check out process was easy as well. Again you can’t beat the location of this place if you are looking for a place within walking distance of restaurants, breweries and downtown Bend. We will most likely be repeat customers for a third time when we come back in the summer.

Great Location, everything you need

The house was wonderful and check in/out were very easy. Great backyard for our dog to run around, and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. Can’t beat the location with excellent breweries and restaurants to walk too.

Nice little cottage, appears freshly remodeled. The loft is definitely low ceiling, but that's outlined in the listing. Also the bathroom is small. The furniture is comfortable, and the patio area is very nice. I would rent again.

Awesome location!

We had a great stay. The neighborhood is awesome and easy to get to downtown or the river loop trail on foot. Also, a few restaurants and bars down the street. Figuring out how to get in the house at night (in the snow) was challenging. I would recommend a photo or something to show how to open the gate or use a color other than white. However, when I called at 11:15 pm I got a very helpful and nice response!

It was OK

It's important to know a few things when you consider booking it. The best thing about the property is that the yard is phenomenal, absolutely beautiful with the best back porch. Ever. The less impressive things are the very, very small bathroom with a door that doesn't close well. Harder to swallow was the way you have to get up to the second bedroom. There is a very awkward, verging on dangerous landing with caution tape that is partially gone. It has a cement square that pops up a couple of inches, leaving you with just a few other inches to move to get onto the ladder. The ladder is very, very steep, and the room upstairs is an A shape, with a height of about 5'5 (so younger, older, dizzy, disabled, or tall people may have a tough time getting up or downstairs). There isn't much storage in the kitchen, which is fine but important to know if you are bringing food. Finally, important to know that the faux wood-stove is exposed in the living room and is very hot, so if you do take pets, small children it would be important to watch them carefully or create a barricade so they don't get burned.

Perfect Stay in Bend

We enjoyed our stay at this property. House has everything you need and is nicely furnished. You can’t beat the location for walkability to Bend Central. Management is quick to respond. Great accommodations inside and excellent outdoor living space as well. Will definitely rent again.

Great Bend location

My family enjoyed our stay at River West. Wonderful location - walkability, close to everything. Great coffee place at end of block. My 6’2” son definitely had to hunch over in the attic bedroom but we knew the ceiling was low and he was fine. Kitchen well equipped, but no dishwasher. Nice fully fenced backyard was perfect for the dog. Beds very comfortable. Nitpick: Only 2 rather thin bath towels provided. Overall it was perfect for our long weekend getaway from Seattle, we would stay here again.

Great location for a few days in Bend!

Great location! The rental is clean, updated and the property managers are great. The house itself is very small, so I wouldn’t recommend for more than just one couple (there is a second bed in the loft). The yard was nice for our pup and had a nice fire-pit/outdoor setup. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, but there isn’t a dishwasher. The bed was very comfortable! Overall a good stay and we would rent again.
