Heart of Bend is a charming 3 bed, 1 bath home located on Bend’s popular West Side right in the heart of it all! You'll love this quintessential craftsman westside home. Just half a block off of Newport Avenue, Heart of Bend is tucked into a sweet neighborhood. Welcome to your home just a few steps away from some of Bend’s most popular restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, grocery, boutiques and more! Drake Park, Downtown Bend, and the Old Mill are an easy meander on foot. This is a restored classic Bend cottage originally built in the 1930’s during Bend’s mill-town heyday.

DOWNTOWN LOCATION
Only steps away from many local favorite spots on Newport Ave. Grab some yummy pastries at Nancy P's Baking and a cup of fresh coffee at Backporch Roasters, just around the block. The local gourmet grocer Newport Market, and great eats like Chow, Spork and Kebaba are just one block away. Mirror Pond and Downtown Bend are only 1-5 blocks away... and of course Mt Bachelor is just 20 minutes up the road. Come stay in Bend and live like a local!

HEATING & COOLING
This spacious home has central heat and A/C unit to keep you the perfect temperature year round. The 3rd bedroom has an additional cadet heater also.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Heart of Bend sleeps 6 guests. Sleep arrangements include 3 bedrooms (1 king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom and 1 full bedroom) Please bring your own baby bedding if you would like to use the Pack ’n Play travel crib.

KITCHEN AND DINING
Enjoy a classic fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances. The dining room seats 6 next to the windows looking out onto the covered porch. The classic eat-in kitchen also features a 2nd dining area in the vintage kitchen nook.

OUTDOOR SPACES
Relax on a spacious covered porch in the front yard. Outside you'll find a private back patio and side yard. On the back patio, just out the kitchen door, you'll enjoy a propane BBQ. In the side yard, there are 6 comfy Adirondack chairs and small outdoor table if you prefer meals alfresco. The sideyard also has bike hooks for storing bikes.

PARKING
Free street parking for this home! There are usually 1-2 spots in front of the home for you to use. Otherwise you are welcome to park anywhere on the street.

KID FRIENDLY
You'll find lots of books and games for kiddos and adults alike. The home has an oversize walk-in shower so a child bath is provided. You'll also find a double stroller in the closet of the 3rd bedroom. There is a changing mat you are welcome to use on a dresser as well. A restaurant style high chair is located in the laundry room for your use. Please note that the home is not 'child-proof'. For example, we do not provide plug covers or corner bumpers.

PET-FRIENDLY
Heart of Bend is a pet-friendly home with an enclosed yard. Pet sheets are provided for furniture. If you plan to bring your sweet pup(s), kindly let us know prior and remember to pick up your piles! A pet fee applies to each reservation.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The neighborhood is quaint, and charming. This home is located on the corner of 9th street, which is a well used local thoroughfare, but the home is set well back from the street so noise should not be a problem. Please remember to respect all our neighbors during your stay and observe all Bend's Good Neighbor Guidelines. Please observe all parking instructions and quiet hours between 10pm and 8am.
