Be aware of the Owner - He is always at the Villa!!!
A group of 13 girls aged 36-58 travelled from various places around the Uk. Owner organised a taxi for ease, however it failed to turn up/no contact by the Owner. The Owner was always on site and upon arrival, was greeted by his huge dog (good job we were not afraid or allergic to animals). He demanded money from us immediately(this was the holiday balance which he wanted in cash/unsure if this is a tax fiddle). He promptly stuck around and ended up joining our group almost uninvited drinking and eating. He turned up music and we had to ask him to turn it down - he said don't you want to party?? You need to know the Owner has live stock on the grounds which means he has to come on site daily - this was not on your website and made us feel very uncomfortable being a group of girls. He also arrived approx. 11pm with a friend uninvited drinking and wanting to party and we had to threaten him with the Police to leave which he eventually did. He taunted us at a local restaurant because we had cancelled in good time his taxi because we had found a cheaper deal (100 euro's cheaper) and he also charged us a large additional amount for electricity a minute before we left again this was not advertised and believe he was out there to take what money he could from us.
The villa itself is stunning with views, however it is on a main road on a huge hill and is not near a beach at all. There are 2 restaurants which were lovely but treacherous if you dared to walk back in the dark along a windy busy road with no pavements, so you need a car or taxi to get anywhere. The villa has a huge pond with fish in, but the fountain was not running therefore, there was stagnant water and lots of mosquito's!!! Whilst the villa was clean, the outside especially near the bar area was filthy and smelt.
If you are a group of girls, what ever age - BECAREFUL!!!!!
