Perched on the hill above Calpe, Villa Joan has a stunning location with views as far as the eye can see. Overlooking rolling countryside & down to the coastline, it offers an impressive back drop of the Bernia y Ferrer mountain range, a popular spot for hiking. It’s also only a short drive to the sea and the centre of the resort.
Although this villa is very large, because of its layout it still manages to feel homely and is a fantastic venue for larger bookings.
Originally a farmhouse and wine makers the renovation has respected the buildings original charm but has blended new modern comfortable furnishings tastefully. The thick sandstone walls keep this finca cool on hot summer days & nights but also offers air conditioning in parts, the clever design has been arranged for everyone to have their own space but then be able to come together in the ample communal area for fun times.
The garden & large pool area has flowers cascading over the rock walls set over different shaded levels inviting you to relax or have fun & games with boules & ping pong readily available.
Overlooking this area is a curtain of by-folding doors that fully opens to bring the outside in and here is an exceptional outdoor/indoor summer kitchen and BBQ area for everyone to come together.
Inside there are 3 independent lounge areas, furnished for relaxation, to watch tv or just read, 3 independent fully equipped kitchens displaying historic photos of the building, and a wonderful chill out barrel bar area for a glass of wine or to make your own cocktails.
The 9 double & 2 twin bedrooms  (11 in total) are served by 8 modern bathrooms some being en-suite.
This is truly a unique villa, totally linked internally so not one is cut off, but it also offers an external staircase to the top floor giving the ability not to bother others.
 
Parking is possible for 5 cars and there is an electric car charging point*
