Our house is located at an elevation of 900 meters, directly above Berchtesgaden in a quiet, south-facing setting at the foot of the legendary Untersberg, offering a stunning panoramic view stretching from the Watzmann to the Kehlstein. Nature lovers will feel especially at home here, as you can set out on beautiful mountain hikes, via ferrata routes, and walks right from our house. Routes around and up the Untersberg range from easy to challenging. The Gerer Höhenweg and the Klammweg trail to Berchtesgaden are wonderful walks. For families, we have a great playground, and you’re welcome to feed and pet our animals on the farm. Not far from the house, there are llamas grazing in the pasture, and you can book a llama hike upon request.A short walk from the house is the traditional Gasthaus Dürrlehen, which features a lovely playground, and hiking trails start right there vorbei.Im In summer, the Aschauerweiher natural swimming area in Bischofswiesen is a great spot to visit; the Fairy Tale Trail through the forest also begins there. In winter, the cross-country ski trail runs there. The salt mine or the Haus der Berge in Berchtesgaden can also be visited even in bad weather. Many well-known attractions, such as Königssee and Kehlstein, are between 4 and 9 km away.
