”Absolutely charming hotel, with a lot of history! We loved sitting on the big front porch having a cocktail! The staff is so friendly! The restaurant cuisine needs a little bit of tweaking!”

”We only stayed one night the room was okay for that I probably wouldn’t stay for a longer stay just because people say I’m boujee LOL but I don’t think I am. But the beds were comfortable but old the blankets and sheets could used updating because there were stains on them the floors could definitely use better sweeping it looked like they just took a broom to the main area of the floor instead of getting in smaller areas and such because there was quite a bit left behind. ”This is the first hotel I’ve ever checked into where they didn’t ask for an ID at all. We walked into the room and there was a huge amount of hair on the corner of the bed. We also couldn’t get the tv to work. We let the front desk know the room originally didn’t have a remote. They sent one down that didn’t work so we called again. Someone came down and put some electrical tape on it and called it good. Once again it didn’t work and the front desk said they couldn’t do anything about it....

”The property was fine but there was no breakfast like advertised. Only coffee and tea, which was a bummer.”

”Carol fixed us delicious, variety-filled breakfasts. We were in a group of 6 and able to visit outside around a fire, on a porch or inside in large comfortable sitting rooms.”

”It's not the Ritz, but it's fine for what it is. I had no problem with it. Comfortable bed, we had 2 doubles. TV didnt work , but I was only sleeping there, don't need it with phone, etc. It's really good for the money, I had room 202.”

”Room was poorly maintained. Price was ridiculous for the quality. Tub and shower were in bad shape. Breakfast was poor and coffee was terrible. We used the stairs a couple times and there were spider webs all over. Not maintained at all. The pullout had no linens. Had to request those. Only towels for 2 people. Reserves for 3. Staff were friendly but overall will not return.”
