”The pool was closed, as we were told the water heater wasn't working. The hallway ceiling tiles had water stains. The shower-curtain rod was very rusted. Otherwise, the room was clean, but a little dated. The staff was friendly.. Don't expect an elaborate breakfast or wonderful coffee.”

”First time in Vermillion. Decided to go there and avoid outrageous room costs in Sioux Falls. I will go again. This was easy to get to and was a nice place.”

”Electric outlets not working had to change rooms. Then toilet didn’t flush no water. Hairdryer nor telephone worked. Could not change channels on tv. From the 4 nights we stayed only 1 time the beds were made. At evening nobody is ever at the desk. Breakfast items running low or not available. We stayed here last year and we had no trouble at all. Maybe they were understaffed and they were in a remodel.”

”I don’t usually do reviews but thought I would write one for my most recent stay. The hotel seemed a little off this visit. Our room had a slight odor to it. The breakfast on Sunday morning was very limited as everything was out. I was surprised room service didn’t tidy up, but maybe that is your policy for two night stays - no new towels, no bed made, ect.”

”While the breakfast was minimal, the rest of the hotel was comfortable and lovely. Given how reasonable the price was, the room we stayed in surprised us -- it was clean, comfortable and pleasantly decorated pleasantly. We have added the chain to our list of first choices for when we travel.”

”We were participating in a Sioux Falls baseball tournament, and several of the families stayed at the Homewood Suites. The entire hotel is clean, and the rooms are spacious. The location was great and within walking distance of several dining options. What really set it apart for several of the families was the customer service. Check-in and check-out were easy, and Frank was extremely friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond to ensure we all left with a smile on our faces. We will be...
