Tuntuu kuin olet jo vieraana Home Portissa katsomassa videota, joka sijaitsee kuvagallerian lopussa! Home Port on viehättävä merenranta New England maalaistalo sijaitsee Bass Harbor Mount Desert Island, koti Acadia National Park ja Bar Harbor. Home Port mahtuu 6 kolmessa makuuhuoneessa, joissa on 2 kylpyhuonetta. Se on vastikään päivitetty moderni keittiö ja ilmastointi. Viehättävä kalasatama ja vuorille Acadia on näkymä kannelta tämän mukavan kodin. Telakka ja syvän veden kiinnitys voidaan toimittaa ja teemme tarjota soutuvene meidän vuokralaisten käyttöön. Kajakit ovat saatavilla myös telakalla. Suuntiin fyysinen osoite on 22 Columbia Ave, Bernard 04612.


Pyöräily, rantautumista, vaellus, melonta, melontaa, kalastusta aivan hotellin vieressä sekä monilla muilla aloilla Mount Desert Island. Valaiden katselu Bar Harbor vain 20 minuutin päässä. Tähdet Cadillac on pakko nähdä. Fine dining on meidän kaikkien kylien, SW Harbor, Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor ja Tremont .. Ostoksilla T paita kaupoissa tai merkkivaatteet ovat käytettävissä. The far end of the Quiet Side, Mt Desert Island, Maine

A recommendation.Homeport is a clean, well built, solar powered ocean front home with a killer view in an authentic small fishing village at the far end of Mt Desert Island…far from touristy Bar Harbor where every restaurant serves the same fried bar food…instead, for brunch there is the Clark Point Cafe in Southwest Harbor where you’ll have to wait to score a table. For an upscale dinner there’s the Red Sky Restaurant next door….and if you’re into healthy veggies go to the Beech Hill Farm, a 73 acre MOFGA-certified organic farm…this is the real deal….pair their veggies with the live lobsters you will buy right off the lobster boat that docks at the Homeport’s dock…absolutely fresh and priced very rightAt that same dock, the property supplies three kayaks and a row boat for your use.Then there’s the Acadia N Park, but you already know about thatSo this place is just exceptional….and the beds are comfortable and the towels are really soft.

At home at Homeport

Loved the location on the water and the ‘quiet side’ of the island. Comfortable home with easy communication with owners. Use of row boat and kayaks was fun for the whole family.

Awesome home. Plenty of room for 5. Very clean& kitchen fully equipped with everything we needed when cooking in. The view was beautiful. Teenage grandson & his dad enjoyed the kayaks. Great location to hike, fish, & just sit & enjoy Maine! Options nearby for restaurants. Can drive 30 minutes to Bar Harbor for shopping in the many souvenir shops though there is a cute one walking distance from the rental. We bought groceries in Ellsworth on way in but local supermarket is also available. My husband has a difficult time with beds but said the king downstairs was amazing & that says a lot! Teenagers said upstairs twin mattresses were hard but they managed just fine. Gas grill for cooking out. If we come back to this area we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!

Lovely Quiet Place on the Quietside

We really enjoyed our week in this lovely, quiet place. The views were amazing, the deck was perfect. The inside was very clean and nicely decorated. We slept like babies. We spent a lot of time on the water - a tour, the ferry to Swans Island ... hope to return.

This home was really nice and very well equipped. It is located on a fishing harbor that is so peaceful and colorful The location was great, close to Acadia and many good restaurants nearby. We’d love to go back!

Beautiful house and location

We stayed for a week. The house and location was beautiful. We used the kayaks a few times. We spent most of our time in Acadia NP (~35 minutes depending on which entrance you go to). Also about 30 minutes from Bar Harbor.

Home Away from Home

This property was very clean, well equipped, comfortable, and the location was perfect. Stacy was easy to communicate with. Im sure there were many other properties in the area that we could have chosen for this vacation, but I can't imagine they could have been any better than this home. They even offer their guests live Lobsters to cook! Our thanks to the Stanley family. This vacation gave us a welcome relief from the Texas summer. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Outstanding harbor house!

We all thoroughly enjoyed absolutely everything about this property! Location was fantastic! Just a short trip to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Lots of hiking, great restaurants. View from the deck was wonderful! Kitchen fully equipped, great grill! The one and only thing we can mention are the twin beds in third bedroom....difficult to sleep on.

Quiet Side Gem

The property is lovely, with a bright deck overlooking a small fishing harbor. This perfectly equipped and spotless home hosted our quintessential Maine experience. The location is quiet, yet it's easy to access Acadia and Bar Harbor. We will definitely return!

The Ideal Acadia Getaway

The harbor was such an unbelievable setting to take in from the back deck, especially at sunset. A five-minute walk to Thurston's made dinners very easy. We ate there every night. There are plenty of great hikes and sights to take in that are a 10-15 minute drive away and your main Bar Harbor and Acadia attractions are only 30 min away. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Simply Nice!

This property is situated on a quiet, working harbor in coastal Maine. The lobster boats, pleasure vessels and other boats are fun to watch. This property is very quiet and it is still close to the charming downtown of Southwest Harbor, and still a short drive to the attractions of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. You will like the house and the location. We certainly did!
