Malethi House is 150 metres from the beach, and is often visited by peacocks.

The property is located in Moragalla between the towns of Beruwala and Aluthgama in the Western Province of Sri Lanka. The house is built in a colonial style; the garden has been lovingly landscaped with flowers and trees.

Peacocks from the neighbourhood often settle in the garden for a short visit. Flying foxes circle the place in the evening.

A local but good German-speaking caretaker, whose name is Jayseri, takes care of all your needs on site. On request, he organises round trips lasting several days, boat trips and takes care of reservations and/or other necessary telephone calls.

The house has a well-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms each with a bathroom (WC, shower, bidet), a living room with dining area and a large terrace. It can be used by up to 4 people. All rooms and the terrace are equipped with ceiling fans. The property is surrounded by a wall with two gates.

Guests have unrestricted access and rent the entire house.

The beach is 150 metres away, but you can also turn right after 20 metres to the Ayuveda Hotel "Ypsilon" with a restaurant right on the beach. You can use the hotel's own stretch of beach with sun loungers free of charge. However, you are expected to have a drink and a snack. There are several restaurants with good local and European cuisine in the vicinity of the accommodation.
